GM took the mid Frankies Hour buy in UJ as price moved up after a couple of HLs.

The wide, green semi marubozo broke out above yesterday's high on very high volume. We don't yet know IF this is a fakeout which the MMs are using to sell into, OR a true break for higher prices, thus my SL is at BE +1 whilst we wait to see IF yesterday's high is now support.....TWT

Edit: SL now +10, just below yesterday's high....

Here is how I see it,.....no longs, just heavy selling after that little spike up....all shorting. Once the price got too low for SM, they immediately went to work to hike it back up to resume shorting at higher prices.

I view the current PA in UJ as very important. Price has held above the old monthly lows of 101.22 & 101.65 since Friday's break above those levels and continues to do so....

This morning's break to new highs was on highish volume, but not ultra high as in a blow off reversal.

This 1 min chart shows the detail and whilst I have now taken an initial scout type sell off this 1m chart, I am waiting for the 5m & 15m dragons to turn down before and prefer to be cautious in adding further shorts......TWT

PS I am also waiting for € to turn south before considering a sell of €J....

Sonikers...

it has been a very busy week for me..
I am doing a very difficult certification course for my electrical related.. I am exhausted..

I saw something is GU and I would like to share with u guys..


Markets move with fundamental.. they go from Point A to Point B....
But It doesn't go straight line..

It swings up and down..It advances, It retraced.. but in overall it is trying to go from one level and another level...

Swings appear in the form out constant battle between bull and bear, and Stop hunts from market makers who are neither bull nor bear..

Ok, here come an example...


Look at GU..

US session close with 1.520x.<point 1>.. asian session is nothing but much of side way.. fast forward.. few bars before UK open.. there was 40 pips drops in 5 bars (1hr15 mins span) as it broke 1.518x...<point 2>

That was the trap.. Astute trader should know very well of it..

Market Maker are bullish for now (I dont know for how long) and they want it cheap.So Buy Low Sell High right??.. So they intentionally drive down the mkt to hunt weak longs (most of longs' SL must be below 1.5200 and trapping unsuspecting shorts..

I missed the morning action so have been tidying up a few positions, closing some early before hitting TP but I think with reason.

AusUsd closed - This mornings action showed HH's and HL's combined with volume at lows. 2 lots, at 95 pips each - 191 "pips".

EurUsd closed - not so sure on this one. Again did not reach TP but volume indicates some profit taking at least. I am hoping it will slide further to give my elephant time to recover (see below). 4 lots at 127 pips each, total 508 "pips".

This gives me a fantastic 434 "pips" so far this week.

That takes me to the elephant in the (my) room - yen shorts running at a big negative "pips". Its a big elephant which has a long way to go to recover. I have held on as every time I look at those pesky volumes I see the same thing happening, volumes as we break ever higher 1/4, 1/2 and whole numbers. Am I seeing what I want to see? Maybe. Is the PVSRA hypothesis wrong? Possibly. If these bets come good does that prove the hypothesis correct and make it a viable strategy? Not neccessarily. There is not enough historical evidence to make a valid conclusion, it needs a good few months through varied market types for any definitive answer. In any case the numbers need to be weighed in the balance of the alternatives out there, not least classic SonicR.

In summary this has a long way to go to earn its stripes. For the moment the game is to balance the books with more winning trades whilst I wait it out.

Looks like a false break, 1.5270, 1.53 and 1.5370 is the place to look for shorts imho

How do you know that was a trap before you saw the price move up. Is it because the rising volume?

I got hit by this one. My SL hit during short, then the price turn around to hit my previous TP. Damn!
