This seems like a good strategy, Im going to look into it, however, I see some of you are trying it without following the OPs recommendation of using H4 only.

As I said, everyone has changed the system and added indicators to suit themselves. This thread is no longer reliable for newbies.

Still getting used to TMS system so still in sim. 66% profitable trades so far. Could be better if I did not make some dumb trades.
Need to be patient and take quality set ups, rather than a few hopeful set ups.
Took GU sell last night at 1123 pm my time (australian eastern time) target was 30 pips and made target.

Sorry to hear that. Agree with you that it's not easy but not rare entries actually because I get 3 or more crossing signal alerts per day. (but I took none)

The problem with TDI, same as others, is that it's a lagging indicator. So when the cross happens, price has moved for a while. And if taking different server time offset into account, your cross may appear after someone's cross, in which price has already run its course and nearly out of momentum. (See attachment, the cross occurs after price has gone down where the vertical line is)

So, it's not an easy way to trade intraday using this method, at beginner level you should look at swing trades, where some trades may last more than a week... (H4 TF is for swing trades anyway), before jumping straight into intraday.

For intraday, you may try H1 but TDI is the last to look after PASR, breakout and trend (Dean invented TDI for m15 anyway)...

As others have already mentioned, to be profitable, no matter what TF, study PA is a must and trading with the trend... and it's not really easy to study or understand what PA really is unless you have stared at the chart 1 month non stop... for the trend, you can check my profits/losses summary of TDI buy/sell signal for each pair and trade the same direction for that specific pair here.

The higher the TF, the more in fluent of these fundamental news affect, bigger the profits, bigger the losses... so in the end it's still the same with intraday except less worries about random spikes.

Made a short trade even though sessions were over. Pullback candle along with a retrace from weekly high.

that pulback at GMT1600 is usual London close market behaviour in both consolidation and trending market type.

just pay more attetnion to market sessions open and close and the price behaviour when you are trading H1 and below.

Silly question but how on earth can I make the lines on TDI thinner? Every time I change the setting, it switches back to the original thickness when I switch time frame or restart the platform.

TMS success and failure:

Just catching up reading the previous days posts.
It did not surprise me as there are some traders who learned to trade TMS successfully.
Yet there are some who traded TMS and say it does not work for them.
There are bountiful of reasons and many experienced traders here in Forex Factory can easily point them out to you.

For those who still have yet to make TMS into your own trading system, it is time for you to ask yourself this question:

What have I not done to make TMS in my own trading system?

TMS method shared here is just the tip of the iceberg. The bigger part is hidden below and you want to make TMS into your own trading system, you must work on the hidden part.

There are three components to trading mastery, the commonly known as the 3 M's
Method
Money Management
Mind

TMS is just the smallest part of the 3 M's maybe 10% or even much less as I believe.

In order for you to make TMS into your winning system - you must do The Work.

What is The Work?

Now, you must asnwer this question I wrote above:

What have you not done to make TMS as your winning system?

Are you prepareed and committed to do The Work?

Let me hear how many of you are prepared. I will plan my future contributions based on how many of you are prepared and committed here in TMS thread.

that must be hard coded in your TDI version.
post your TDI version here and I will look at the mql4 code .

and prioirty is to preserve your trading capital.

Hi all,

I am newbie here, actually I have follow this thread for more than a month, and I have personally try this TMS method for a few weeks but end up my loss is more than win. I wonder why...

I would need some help for this trade I take now.

Is it this is a valid entry?

Appreciate for any advice.

It looks like you just not listening what people say here. For me your problem with traiding is 100% mental.
Did you notcice fact that everyone here was somehow blamed to deviate rules?? It just suits you to appologise yourself.
System is bad, traders here are not onest, it is not for newbies, it just a pure luck etc, etc and we not even seen ONE SINGLE trade you made. Do not feel I am trying insult, please.... just this is what I see... your problem do not allow you to earn on any markets with no matter what system you employ.

while TDI and stoch confirm, i would not get in on it simply because the candle is so small lifeless no momentum candle.

I would say its a valid entry but risky. check 4h and daily trend, and you will see the pair is in strong uptrend

First thing you need to do is get rid of the 2 Stochastics on your chart above.
For newbies, you can use Stoch (8,3,3) as a confirmation tool.

Now you tell me these:

1) what are your trading rules, name any 5 rules you gave yourself.

2) List down 5 entry rules for TMS 4H trading.

3) List down 5 exit rules for TMS 4H trading.

Do the above first, then you will see very clearly if that trade is a A+++ trade setup.
