There isn't any major reason why shere should be a rate cut, I suspet Its not going to happen. The EU is going to keep pumping money in why cut rate for what reason. Forcasts are only correct some of the time, trade the trend untill announcements are made

Nah seriously, oscillators can work, divergences can be great, but imo definitely not in insider move pre ECB press conference. Imo PA can behave literally anyhow.

Besides, you didint tell me setup of your MACD. And err, anyway, even if you are using MACD divergences, you would need some other oscillator as trigger, as MACD would be lagging, so something like Stoch or RSI. But eh, I cant scalp, if it works with MACD divergence and is profitable, go for it.

edit: just to expand here, it may be very well good to go short, but it is faking insider move, so we may get overshoot our levels. And MACD trigger is not that great imo.

uk time next high of 4 hr candle place a sell and watch the move tomorrow - nice place to look down upon the price action.

What is it about the PA (Eurusd screaming higher) implies liquidity is low? If low liquidity meant bigger price movements why don't we see the largest price movements during the Asian session?

complicated to answer but today is agreat opportunity to set up for tomorrows ecb news.. so why would u be buying so heavily on a european holiday,kinda like u already know the answer.. just follow their clues.. why they buying for what other reason.. also 5 m to h4 all showing head and shoulders so this should bet he top - and may a month of letting of steam and selling .. into the mid twenties..

Becarefull all of this jumping was done in EUR bank holiday it is not a valid movement . It priced in for USA bad news I think so after even bad announce big boys is going to cash profit

You may be right here. I ve been saying we have thin market all the time and Rob here, who seems to be watching market volume a lot, was insisting big money are flowing in anyway.

Nevertheless, in a thin market, you have place for interventions of big players. Thats why commodities or stocks swing more than FX. In fact is the reason for all those little nations in Europe to accept Euro, so big players cant threaten their domestic currencies.

Simply put, in low liquidity market, big cash always make big trouble.

You don't need any volume data to know there is little liquidty, you can watch the spread jumping a lot to know the liquidity is scarce
