could someone please fill me in as to why a potential rate cut should be bullish for euro? If I understand this correctly, banks have their lending rates extremely low already, and lowering these should cause very little effect. These rates hardly effect the consumer, as banks have massive margins when lending out money. So if anything, shouldn't that be more bearish, as holding onto any currency with a lower interest rate hurts the holder per se?
