if u-j would break out of this trap, we'll also see some movement on g-j.
i've got pending longs above 99.76 and shorts below 98.96.
arrows indicate background action, and if price goes above each significant setup then it's pretty much safe to enter the trade. right now it looks like a trap between bulls and bears and i will not trade it unless i see clear break (either way).

as for g-j, i don't see any selling background for now so my guess is price will continue to rise. i can't help noticing that this entire move up from 147 looked undecided. but hey, it's still going up... no signs of bears... if it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck

Yeah, she definitely doesn't look like she wants to give up too much ground quite yet. Buy the dips mode until PA says differently...

I made mistakes and I'm not shy to share them with you,
I put in a short @ 152.15 yesterday and early this morning again @ 152.90 and 153.25.

For now I'm gonna let it ride and see what's going to happen.

I respect that, Killer. I'd cheer it on for ya, but I'm afraid I started building longs again just below (and in) this current zone (153.30s)... I do hope you get out win minimal damage. I know it's never fun having to babysit an underwater position.

Last night Japan's MoF numbers showed selling of foreign bonds although mkt consensus has been the BOJ's aggressive monetary policy is pushing money (insurers/pension funds) into foreign mkts (soverign debt)

Kuroda and BOJ Policy Stmt tonight.......don't know...maybe can shorten the timeline to achieve 2% inflation?

Tomorrow....US GDP Q1....expectation for 3% looks to be the high side given weak ec prints recently....if GDP comes in on the downside the recent highs just below 100 may be a top for u/j until at least next weeks FOMC and NFP

my 2 cents for what that is worth, but think the FA here fits with Scrat's post about possible drop and u'j being trapped in the tight range the past several days all of which may also as Scrat pointed out affect gj

personal bias is to sell, but may be wrong.....was wrong on ES and mini Dow shorts off poor German IFO and Durable Goods fail/closed the trades for some losses but that is the risk

part of the point with last night's MoF numbers gives question as to how much frontrunning has been taking place ahead of actual buying by the Japanese (i trade european equity indexes and given the RADICAL rallies out of the blue it looks QUITE A LOT)........next week is also Golden Week Japan...4 national holidays within a 7 day week..

if i were a Japanese insurer and or pension fund (which i am not obviously) and next week is pretyy slow for business i would be inclined to wait for better pricing opportunities especially knowing that foreign markets are literally drooling to be debt bailed out again

again, i may be wrong but that is what i think
