Hi Malcolm,

open "Navigator", then custom indicators where you have ATR indi located, drag and drop ATR file into your TDI on the bottom of the screen, change parametr from default 14 to value required and press OK.. thats it! you might change colour of ATR to NONE if you need only figures

That was usual good top down technical analysis to form the Big Picture.

Big Picture planning is not rubbish - like thrash, we can either reduce, reuse or recycle. Save our Planet Earth.

* Support zone is Demand
* Resistance zone is Supply

just to be consistent what we talk about SR or SD.

Note: H4 is very interesting as market went from high volatile to narrow range sideway now. See TDI VB narrowing. This is opportunity for another breakout move or at least a wide range market type.

I read but don't post since you all trade 1 hour & 4 hour during London, & I trade the 30 minute chart during the New York session only (& occasionally early Tokyo). Haven't had enough coffee yet to find a joke, but best wishes anyway.

Anticipation is not a good thing when it comes about trading, but this time worked. The risk (SL) was very small. See red arrow on TDI, and smaller HA candles before taking off...

Malcolm,

Trading spot forex can be tough when we do not know what move the market. I still dont know.

But when China PMI data came out early today, AU drop. China is big trading partner with many countries and Germany is also a big partner.
So we need to anticpate some of the data release from big China and be prepared for market reactions. That is why we must always trade with SL.

But, looking at EU, market has been sideway for few days. Look at D chart and that big mother bar of 17 Apr. Follow by several small range days.
TDI cross down , so we are SELL bias.

On H4, PA continues from last Friday, more to the D direction.
So if you are trading intraday, you can use the TOK_5H range for breakout trading. This you can see more clearly usinh H1 and M15 chart TF to see the PA.

Since D direction id down, we look for breakout to the Downside and we avoid the UPside breakout.
M15 show you how the trade could have been taken since TOK_5H is only 32pips, a good R.
But M15 is fast moving, you need to make fast decision. But as usual, the TDI is the entry and exit condition we use.

Just keep up with chart practice, and you will do good soon.

Don't say I did not warn you.
Look at the W candle and the D chart, that may frigthen you to go BUY now on H4.
But this can be an early entry.
I am in already and will build up positions as it develops.

Arrg... caught out...lol

Hi emmanuel... just lately ive fallen into the trap of not sticking with one strategy/system, trying to use small parts of other systems to fine tune, but usually deterimental to my account. Been examining other "forum" TDI systems.

Well, not doing too bad tonight GBCHF +44 pips, EU +50pips, USCHF +15 pips all swing trade H4

If you interested in my trades ill post..

Arunaz,

Thanks for your post.
There are many people like you who have full time day jobs. I was like that for almost 30 years until one day I decided to fire my boss. That was 2007.
But with that 10 to 20 minutes everyday you have, you can slowly pick up on how to trade TMS. It depends on your hours available to access online charts and the market hours, once you are comfortable with the timing, then decide if you to practice on H4 or even the D chart timeframe. This will hep you learn quicker and with preactice, practice, practice, .... you will make it one day and have a supplement second income, and you may even want to fire your boss.

Regards,

UJ .. H1 is in your favour but still need support 98.80.

EU DBHLC is good, ... 1.2970 is support and day range quite filled up already.
