Okay, thanks. But people are buying all that for something else right? What other major players am I missing? How strong are jpy and aud nowadays?

Co-relation is not straight as a "Straight Line" otherwise there is no need of Cross Pairs. For example,

EUR/ USD rise because USD is weak
GBP/USD rise because USD is weak

but EUR/GBP falls because EUR is weak, therefore, EUR is weak and USD is weak, both are weak at that point of time so GBP/USD rises better than EUR/USD pair.

CAD, AUD, NZD, JPY all are major for Forex on the otherhand Forex influenced by commodities like Gold, Silver. Strong upward move of commodities will take the E/U higher because the base currency USD will be weaker if commodities goes strong. Intraday move of Stocks and indices will majorly impact forex.

  1. US retail sales negated an early NY rally to 1.3070, EUR/USD hit low 1.3036
  2. Confluence of support too much for bears to overcome (More)
  3. Bulls encouraged as the pair fails to break back below 1.3040
  4. Also, it put in a daily candle with a long lower wick
  5. Resistance at 1.3140/65 remains a key hurdle for longs

EUR/USD Stalls Climb Around 38% Retracement Level

EUR/USD (daily chart) as of April 12, 2013 has stalled its climb of the past week around the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level of the two-month bearish trend from early February to early April. This bullish correction reached a high yesterday around the 1.3138 level before stalling its climb. Not only is this price resistance area around the key 38.2% Fibonacci level, it is also in the region of the 50-day moving average.
Having bumped up against this tentative resistance, EUR/USD may be exhausting its rally. A breakdown below the key 1.3000 level would provide some confirmation of this exhaustion, and an indication that price could be looking towards a resumption of the bearish bias that has been in place since the beginning of February. In this event, a key downside objective remains around the 1.2650 level. A breakout above yesterday’s high could extend the current bullish correction towards 1.3300 resistance.

EURUSD Is Testing 1.3100 Resistance From Where Price Could Retrace To 1.2900/50

EURUSD extended another 200 pips higher since Friday, so now we are even more confident that a low on EURUSD is in place.
This was expected because of an ending diagonal, reversal pattern placed in wave 5). The recovery from the 1.2747 low is very strong, so we think it represents only one part of a larger recovery that could extend up to 1.3200 in April.
At the moment we are tracking wave A) that is already testing the important 1.3050-1.3100 resistance area back from mid-March where there was also a gap that occurred on 18th of the moment, so this zone could cause a reversal in price.
As such, we would not be surprised to see a top formation around current levels followed by a corrective pull-back in wave B) back to 1.2900-1.2950 zone (NFP report zone) in the next few days.

The latest version of MT4 (build 482) now includes a one-click trading panel
You can show or hide it in one of two ways

1. right click on the chart and select it from the context menu
2. click on the tiny icon on the top left corner of the chart

Finally MT4 has taken a leap forward.

Some of us have fat fingers, and in that case it may be a bit dangerous to have on-click trading enabled on our charts.
So, if you would rather not take the risk and therefore wish to disable the on-click trading feature, from the 'tools' menu, select 'options', go to the 'trade' tab, remove the check mark indicated in the screen shot below and click on the OK button.

ADD:

Warning: The first time you use one-click trading, it will automatically enable it if it is disabled. However, if you disable it again, then any subsequent clicks on the panel will open the legacy (2 step) trading pop-up for confirmation before executing the trade.
