currently short +10, aiming 3082, but 3091 might give problems. upside is 3136.1 atm

I know what you mean. I wouldn't buy yet though with the intention of riding momentum - maybe some scalps. However, it is close to the 200SMA on the daily. Could see upside if broken.

Also keep in mind, last two weeks have been bullish, expect a correction at this resistance. Today is Friday

My thoughts on the retracement is that if this is turning into a genuine Bull trend wich I strongly belive, EUR/USD will have to close over the weekend on a strong note so that the trend can carry out thru next week.

Just woke up hoping to catch a new low forming... Sadly not. But my alarms say price went above 117 only once in 6 hours, but not below the low between 10-12.

To me, that's Asia buying.

As long as price is above 3117 I don't care. As I said above, I don't think she'll end today on a new low. 3105 has been established over Asia, top 3126. 31 pip range?.... It's been up all week after last week's engulfing weekly bar. Trend is up.

MAs indicate what's happened before... Not what's gonna happen. . No one knows what's gonna happen. We just make educated guesses.

EUR/USD – Moves to Highest Level in Six Weeks Near 1.3150

EUR/USD for Friday, April 12, 2013
After finding some solid support around 1.3050, the EUR/USD has reversed and pushed back above the 1.31 level and in doing so, trading to its highest level since late February. It has found reasonable support at 1.3050 which has helped prop it up over the last couple of days. Just a few days ago, the Euro continued to push higher and defy the odds in moving through the key 1.30 level and touch the 1.31 level for the first time in nearly four weeks. In moving to 1.31, it moved to its highest level since the middle of March when it was previously testing the 1.31 resistance level.
The Euro finished last week strongly moving back above 1.30 for the first time in nearly three weeks although it did run into a previous resistance level at 1.3050 which saw it ease back a little below 1.30. In surging higher back above 1.30 and towards 1.31, it bounced well off the ongoing support level at 1.28 and some short term support at 1.29. For the best part of the last couple of weeks, the Euro has found support at the key 1.28 level (evident on the left hand part of the 4 hourly chart below). Although surprisingly late last week, the Euro dropped to its lowest level since the middle of November around 1.2750, so it has done very well to move back strongly above 1.30 and to above 1.31. It was only a few weeks ago that the Euro enjoyed a healthy rally and pushed back above 1.30, however supply jumped on anything sitting above 1.30 to push the price back. It has spent the best part of the last month consolidating above the key 1.30 and 1.29 levels after its decline throughout February. At any price above 1.31, it was rejected quickly as sellers jumped in and pushed the Euro back down to the 1.30 level, so it will be interesting to see how well it can sustain its present trading above 1.31.
The Euro’s overall medium term trend has changed to up with its recent surge higher, which has also been confirmed by the moving averages crossing over within the last week. Will the 1.2800 level and now the 1.30 level be able to continue to hold up, as it has done so well through the last few weeks. The 1.30 level has been one of significance previously and this offered a reasonable amount of resistance over the last couple of weeks, so it is a very positive sign over the last few days to find support at 1.3050. Only back in January, the bulls were in abundance for the Euro as it was moving towards 1.37 and looking strong. However, sentiment has completely changed and the last couple of months has seen a rollercoaster ride for the Euro as it continued to move strongly towards levels not seen in over 12 months above 1.37 before falling very sharply to below 1.28 and setting a 14 week low late last week.
In economic news, German and French CPI releases were within market expectations. The ECB released its monthly bulletin, and analysts will be reviewing the report carefully for any clues as to the ECB’s future monetary policy. Portugal was back in the news as the country’s Constitutional Court struck down some austerity measures that the government announced earlier this year. The measures are part of a bailout package that Portugal received in 2011. The court invalidated steps that included tax hikes worth 5 billion euros, which has left the country 1.4 billion euros short in expected revenue. The economy contracted 3.2% in 2012, and Portugal is behind in its deficit reduction targets. The legal wangling could exacerbate the country’s difficult economic situation and lead to a full-blown crisis, which is the last thing the Eurozone needs.

During the early hours of the Asian trading session on Friday, the Euro is continuing to push up higher from the support it has received from 1.31. Since the start of February, it has fallen sharply from new highs above 1.37, although it has experienced some strong rallies in that time trying to claw back lost ground, with its present rally being the strongest. Current range: trading right around 1.3120.
Further levels in both directions:
• Below: 1.3000, 1.2900 and 1.2800.
• Above: 1.31000 and 1.3300.

The EUR/USD long position ratio has continued to drop below 50% as the Euro has surged back above 1.30. The trader sentiment remains in favour of short positions.
