all the way to the 1.3007 resistance area and maybe a continuation from there.

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The shared currency is now trading back into the positive territory on Thursday, hovering over the area of 1.3085/90 and recovering from overnight lows around 1.3040/45.

The Swiss bank UBS keeps its neutral bias on the cross. Strategists G.Yu and G.Berry commented, “Resistance is at 1.3134 ahead of 1.3228. Support is at 1.2978 ahead of 1.2890”.

In addition, Karen Jones, Head of FICC Technical Analysis at Commerzbank, argued that the cross “has met its initial target of 1.3111/30. Current indications are that the market will fail here and we look for the resumption of the down move. Note this upside target zone is a pivot line and directly overhead lies the 1.3147 55 day ma”.

Senior Analyst S.Holbek at Danske Bank suggested “EUR/USD has managed to stay above 1.3050 despite the somewhat hawkish Fed minutes yesterday… We continue to target 1.33 in EUR/USD on a 1-3 month horizon”.

GM - posted 15 hours ago, #67,052.... Now Europe is closed and the US are at lunch, so the continued fall is on lower volume suggesting to me a test of the 50% retrace or that 3038 area - IMO a nice place to pick up some longs for another attempt on todays highs.

Once again the 50% retracement proved its worth, with a pick up in volume as buyers stepped in early in the Asian session..

For now this morning's rally has halted at todays MR 1 level with a high volume green climax bar of some 4000 units - insufficient IMO for a definative lower high, but I continue to expect a retest of the 3100 area.....TWT

Meanwhile, €s strength is keeping me from selling €J even though the short term UJ chart has turned south.....

Crap PA to trade today...no clean moves....but i'll keep buying dips

EURUSD breaks up through 1.3100

High so far 1.3107 chewing through the sell orders at 1.3100 that I mentioned earlier. more selling interest at 1.3125 and larger between 1.3140-50

All done, no shorts so far..

28/02 daily high 1,3160 is where i may short if PA is not so strong up there.

imo.. if he breaks the 3150 is bullish...

I'm thinking of the February 22 low

The good Italian Bond Auction results at 9:17 GMT turned € back up off the minor support area ~1.3072 for a ~60 pip rally up to the 3130 offers zone in a high volumed green maruzobo where I closed my longs and will now wait to see what the US traders do, but I'll be tempted to buy again towards the 3100 level....the small green shooting star high makes me wonder if I closed too early.....TWT

I have an existing long @1.3131 waiting for Ms Market to put it in the money (ITM)

Still holding earlier short @ 1.3052

3. Key tech resistance since tested, but attracting plenty of spec sellers
4. Pull backs remain shallow however. 1.3100-25 Expiries could yet draw
