I am officially bored waiting for direction on E/U - to the point that I entered short trades on AUD/NZD

title misleading, newbies (me) are usually trying to find some info during London session about EU, most people click expecting EU info

Hello Ken, yeah you may be right. But In all honesty, I try and stick to the shorter term trades due to still working on my abilty to project forward on the overall bigger pitcure. Plus, I really dont have any specific bias for next 1,2,5 hours, days, week etc. Therefore I am left with trying to steal some pips where I can.
When I look at the monthly I can easily see this reaching high 131.xx's/132.00 based on the 50% fibo retracement from the bearish move dropping from the highs of 170. However there is too much going on at the moment both with BOJ and the Yen, along with the overall state of the Eurozone to be able for me to feel confident with any longterm targets...
So I am left trying to perfect my shorter time frame trades - the risk for me is unless I am very confident about the setup, I hesistate and double check levels, and triple check levels etc, then before I know it Its been missed...

Still, its all a work in progress and Im still +28 for the day so better than red pips.

1.3133-1.3172 100% confirmed ... position yourselves accordingly .... could take it down to 1.2870-1.2911 first but cant see that happening. my opinion only

I don't know also. I have little information, still searching.

FOMC minutes tomorrow, probably a hint to scare investors again on QE. So a price like 1,3040 50 is good to short, its about positioning.

Believe it or not, I reacted the same way you did some time ago here on this thread. I wished I weren't so stubborn, missed so many decent trade opportunities. Thanks to Ken A, I tried a few other pairs and am truly happy about it.

I suggest - if I may - try to enlarge your trading horizon. Focusing only EU may damage your mental health

We lost Steve Walker just because he insisted trading EU only

PS: Don't be mad Steve, I know you are following and will come back, I am only teasing you a little.

Grrrrr. Correlation between several pairs cant be considered reason. It is technical analysis.

Mhm, maybe I am heading wrong way here, dont want to sidetrack to our old topic. Do the fundamentals set price, or is everything written in charts and price moves the world?

It probably works both ways, but anyway my correlation program is almost finished. Once it is, mhm, dunno, I probably start working on another nonscence.

I said shorts, but on a second thought longs might be good also within those channels.. no trades for now.
