Yeah .. I combined with other indos: my favorite RSI9 at 15m (I use this for scapling sometimes) and of course "the walking candlestick"

EUR/USD keeps correcting lower

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - After climbing to levels just shy of 1.3040, the shared currency started a correction lower to the current levels around 1.3015, accompanied by an increasing risk aversion.

“In respect of EUR/USD the key driver the next couple of weeks will be relative monetary policy. Hence, the timing of Fed’s QE exit and whether the ECB will cut rates or not will be pivotal for the cross”, suggested Senior Analyst at Danske Bank, S.Roed-Frederiksen.

The cross is now up 0.19% at 1.3015 facing the next hurdle at 1.3040 (high Apr.5) followed by 1.3050 (high Mar.25) and then 1.3107 (high Mar.15).
On the downside, a breach of 1.2918 (MA21d) would bring 1.2896 (MA200d) and finally 1.2868 (MA10d).

  1. Raised stop to 1.2945, below today's low & the Apr 4 high (1.2963/49)
  2. Stop locks in a profit on the 1.2905 long position
  3. Target lowered to 1.3090, just inside the upper 21-day Bolli's current position
  4. Actions taken after today's highs repeated Friday's high by 1.3040

Hello FX Friends

Things are quiet now with EUR/USD and I shorted one position of EUR/USD using Capital of $750.00 US to control one EUR/USD contract of 100K.

I never have ever traded anything but standard lots. I have managed accounts with $5000 US and I get my worst results with those since I have no patience to trade one contract at a time using my CM 20% rule.

I do better with $10,000 US and at $25,000 US I can trade 5 contracts.

My ideal account is $50,000 US and as in my CM Risk Management Strategy that is my teaching model.

Back during 2007 Casey my account executive at PFB Best in Chicago told me that he might have a client for me with 5 Million dollar's US to manage so I asked him to set up a 5 Million US Demo account for me to practise on.

I traded it for exactly 56 Days or Two Months and did 1804 FX trades of 100K.

I had 4 losses and increased the value to near $7,500,000 US.

The point being is that for myself the more Capital that I trade with the easier it is to make good returns.

I really feel that since I trained myself for close to 3 years trading Demo Accounts of $50,000 US Dollars I learned to trade in a proper way.

Just sharing some thoughts while we wait for FX traders to finish lunch in the USA and Canada.

Currency Man that is some track record.

The number of trades in 56 days is 32 a day if you could trade 7 days a week. Did you write an EA to do that?

That is action packed and I am VERY impressed.

After test @ 1.3000 level..E/U is now moving towards daily high.

I actually have the PDF file from Casey who sent it to me during 2007. I can send it to anyone who sends me a PM with their email address.

There was no EA just plain old brainpower. I am very proud of that record even if it was only a demo account. I did 1804 FX trades in those 56 days so since there is about 20 trading days in a month we have 40 days for 1804 FX trades.

It might be useful looking at what I was doing at the time. 1804 Times 100K added up to much volume in those FX trades. Too bad I was not getting PIP rebates of $10 US a trade. AS some of you might know PFG Best is now out of business and my FX trades turned out to be more real than the corporation.

I located the email and the PDF file. Here was part of the email that I attached the PDF file to.

I was reviewing this demo account that I traded at PFG using the FX Solutions platform. There were 34,530 lots traded in 56 days. I had only 4 losses in all those trades. I have calculated the total volume at over Three Billion US Dollars. I would appreciate your confirming the total dollar value of the trades. Please give me a call when you are able and we can discuss it further.

EUR/USD hovering over 1.3000/10

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The single currency is heading towards the key limestone at 1.3000 in a context of increasing selling pressure as the NA session is drawing to a close on Monday.

Moving forward to Tuesday’s docket, Germany and France will release their trade balance figures ahead of Italian Wage Inflation and Greek CPI. Across the pond, speeches by Fed’s Lacker and Lockhart are due, as the US docket will be empty of relevant events.

At the moment, the cross is advancing 0.15% at 1.3010 facing the next resistance at 1.3040 (high Apr.5) followed by 1.3050 (high Mar.25) and then 1.3107 (high Mar.15).
On the downside, a breach of 1.2918 (MA21d) would bring 1.2896 (MA200d) and finally 1.2868 (MA10d).

  6. SEK sold heavily, -14% net volume, 5% below normal, not noted but think EUR/SEK

Sorry for asking such a noob question but... What Does THat mean?
If banks get more Eur, doesnt it mean people think Eur will get a lot weaker?
Then... why is it going up during sydney open? is it a fake move to catch many SL on the down move?
