This is position at 3 of april. After this information I am sure this was shorts covering and going for the exits at masse.

I wanted to understand and calculate exactly, how much pip needed with atomic execution to complete the goal

Starting account let it be 500 euro, leverage 1:888, that means 500x888=444000 euro credit ( you can open 4.4 lot position at start)
1 / 888 => +11.2 green pip will double the account, so you can open another 4.4 lot : 8.8 lot in total, 1000 in equity
+11.2 pip: 17.6 lot, 2k equity
+11.2 pip: 35.2 lot, 4k equity
+11.2 pip: 70.4 lot, 8k equity
+11.2 pip: 140.8 lot, 16k equity
+11.2 pip: 361.6 lot, 32k equity
+11.2 pip: 722.4 lot, 64k equity

The 11.2 need to be green pip, so the spread matter. I think 1.8 pip spread is fair on that conditions, so 13 pip

13x7 = 91 pip in total ( without moving back 11.2-1.8 = 9.4pip ever, and atomic execution)

I remember ForexSaint, who used 500:1 leverage accounts and it was a day when he gained 1000% in 1 day.

It is nice to have a broker, which will allow to withdraw money from they, FXopen Au already blamed they ECN liquidity provider and removed the winner trades! ( check at forexpeacearmy). I have posted here the FXPro's virtual spike of 70 pip, and I told I saw such spike high as 200 pip. On those spikes your trades aren't get filled, just Stop Lose and margin call! I have tried!

When is moving so fast and you are adding position the broker has no chance to cover your positions! Real ECN broker with 500 euro requirement?... ) in dreams...

Lets say at beginning you open a position instead of 4.4 lot only with 1.1 lot. The margin call it is at -44.8 pip ( and you will start with -2)
Lets be the case, when the price go against 7-8 pip , still open the 1.1 lot, not lost, you can add another 3.3 to your losing position.

That is the other question if is smart or not.

At Oanda I can change runtime the leverage(very fast), at Dukascopy need to write a letter and than will be changed( medium-slow) but is changeable.

Maybe he didn't had 888 leverage at beginning, just 100 or 200 which allows more pips to margin call, than he raised the leverage and the losing position survived and added to losing position. So it is possible.

It isn't good to add to loosing position. My idol: Jesse Livermore lost his money, because he broke his rule: added to a losing cotton position.
Not so long time ago I did me too the same thing: raised the leverage from 10:1 to 20:1 and added to my loosing position Friday. Monday it was the -170 pip movement over weekend and banked the profit ( check my explorer if you don't believe)

Bad news for Euro from my country...




A Portuguese court has just ruled that some austerity measures, including paycheck cuts for public workers and a tax on unemployment subsidies, are illegal. It briefly took some of the wind out of the euro's sails in a thin, Friday afternoon markets. The common currency remains higher against both the yen and dollar on the day, but the court ruling serves as a reminder of the ongoing political risks brewing within the euro zone. Euro touched $1.2993 immediately after the Portuguese news broke, but has since rebounded to $1.3009, according to EBS via CQG. ([email protected]; @mbwalter4)

I know what you are saying hence why I called him out for being a liar. There's no way the initial capital was EUR 558 with all the open positions dated at April 04, 2013. Say he opened full leverage EUR 558 x 888 = 495,504 units or 4.95 standard lots, one pips will margin out the whole account.

If you look at his screen capture the total positions opened April 04,2013, it has to be higher account leverage or higher initial capital/balance. There's no way he could've done that with anything less than 1:2000 account leverage. AFAIK, none of the brokers with standard lot offers anything more than 1:50.
