USD Upcoming Releases: How Will the MMs Move Prices?

This has to be pure speculation at this point, but it is based on PVA. I am looking at AU on the M1 chart and I see that some MM(s) just ran the price down to below the whole number. There is heavy activity in the lower regions of price. We know what it means when MMs manufacture price drives to get prices below whole numbers. That is where they like to add longs. The price seem to be moving back up now, but more of this could follow.

If the MMs were going to respond to the USD releases by pro-USD moves, then this AU price action would not have just happened. No, if anything the MM(s) would have driven prices up to add higher priced shorts! If the MMs are planning to respond with anti-USD moves, then it is totally understandable what the MMs just did. They lowered the price to add longs because they know prices will rise later.

Therefore, it would seem the MMs are laying in wait for the USD releases with the intent that higher prices for AU will follow at some point. Let's see how this works out for AU, and also for EU and GU.

Do you see in the attached chart the FFCAL Headline regarding AUD (Sydney, Australia)? As I previously posted, the DST changeover this time of year takes weeks, a month actually from start to finish this time of year to be sure our vLines are drawn properly as NY, then London, and then Sydney (a vLine for the Asian Open is part of the additions in the upgrade) all sequence to DST at different times during a one month period.

Therefore, the field testing is not complete. There is a lot of very complex coding involved behind what you simply see as something that is free and attractive. It will get released when it gets released. Be patient. I don't like sloppy work and I don't like having to make revisions to upgrades soon after they are released. There are a few other items I am wrapping up now also. I am taking my time to try and get it all correct before releasing.

Master, I agree. And it is true that while I waited late into the day to see how high it might go, and if it might start dropping, I did finally enter without any indication either way. My basis for entry was that the exceptionally rapid and high run would qualify any short entry that was near the top at the time as a viable short entry in the eventual bigger picture, even if the MMs continued to hike the price, or if they let it fall and re-hiked it next week.

Yes, the result was the MMs hike the price another 100 pips, and in a matter of hours. Let's be realistic though, 100 pips is nothing the way this pair sometimes moves! It is like EU suddenly moving another 50 pips against a trade. Ouch, but give it another day or several and the trade can be back into nice profits. As for waiting for a good PA candle with confirming volume indicating stopping action, the way this pair is manipulated that first indicative combination might be one that has the price down several hundred pips in a flash. Remember on February 25 this dropped more than 600 pips in six hours. I think I had that in the back of my mind and didn't want to wait for an indicating candle w/volume that might have the price drop 100 pips while I blinked, and so I just decided to go for it.

Master, thank you for your cautionary words. I am not infallible and so I need such reprimands as well as anyone. Thank you. I mean this.

EU Long Trade:

Entered as shown. No SL and no TP at this time. My PVA is that MMs are bulls and favoring the lows for adding longs. Since this is M5 and since this is hours before the London session it is very possible the price will be taken lower, but maybe not. If the price is taken sufficiently lower, and if the MMs still appear as bulls, then I might add to this long trade.

Well, now "Up" is relative, is it not? How high is "high enough"? Which "up" is the top? I am not so arrogant as to think I can pick 'em! So, I take my chances sometimes that I am in at least the right ball park. At this writing, price has fallen back to my short entry area, so all is well.

Hi guys,

Could you summarize rules for Scout entry? I'm a bit lost in that. As far I see that
- you enter long after rapid down candle with high volume (and other way round of course)
- PA suggests reevrsal
- don't wait for dragon
- see possible stopping volume (how exactly you define it?)
- what else?

My second question is about money management and SL in Scout trades (not classing SonicR). I see that you guys average several trades, but... what if the price will not eventually reverse? Where is the hard SL? You keep adding positions, how do you deal with money management? I see very impressive results of JRissa, but at the same time I've seen drawdown over 50%, used lev ~1:200... one more news, price drop and there will be Margin Call. I know its easy to play that games on microaccount, but on normal account it will be painful (also emotionally...At least I'd freak out in that situation). Could you please comment?

Take note of the volume group previous to the current selloff volume. EJ attached, but same on all YEN pairs. Likely Pump & Dump. Yes, price might get hiked somewhat again, but at this point the MMs might have switched to being bears. Any hike now might be to add shorts. Too early to tell anything for sure, what with the way these pairs are manipulated. Just a different possibility to be aware of.

This H&S is in play now. I have lost interest due to the high spread and the low day range and last day of week. Might look again next week.

Fully agree with you. Price has gotten to recent higher timeframe highs, so resistance has been reached.
I'm waiting for this somewhat hiking prices to still happen before any bigger bear moves. This is based on observations how MM's have been doing some while now. To catch stop losses of people who enter the opposide direction too early thinking that the bottom/roof has been reached. isn't it often that there will be false breakout before the real direction confirms.
But as you said, can't be sure for now.
