By the way guys... USD/JPY just broke the highs that were set on the 11th

EDIT: I wouldn't be surprised to see 148 cracked TONIGHT at this rate... gosh, that sounds an awful like something I said last night about 146...

I recently read in a book on long-term trading that usually 90% of a yearīs move in the S&P occurs over a span of only 10 trading days (or sth to that effect), and that was why you should hold on to your position for as long as possible (so you will catch the occasional windfall profits). Well and thatīs what this massive bull candle reminds me of (though some of the daytrading people here seem to have caught it anyway).

I could believe that. And if you're a position trader, yes, absolutely you need to trade like that.

But there's a lot that happens in between the advances, and if you're good at reading PA you can do amazingly well by combining them. I like to fall in the middle as a swing trader myself.

wowsers.. there are big time players now expecting 120 usdjpy to come a knocking.. there is no chance of shorting even if you offered me 50k to do the shorts... such a waste...

look for levels and buys on dips and keep doing that is what I would suggest.

I have to say I never used a demo myself - I tried one once with 50k in it and traded gold n silver - realised I could turn 50k to 400k in a week and knew it was ridiculous based on fact I opened 10 lots at a time and had no stop loss... for me it was like a fun game to had - so I reckon if you can have the discipline to treat it as if real then sweet - but for me I was just like a kid with it..

Im still holding and account almost reaching 6.7k now - Its taking me about 2 minutes plus to change all stop losses as we go along haha collectively I know have almost 2.5 lots in total - I dont think I have ever played with even .7 at any given cumulative time so Im in LOL

lol, not at all dude. Anyone should have seen this since last night. No surprises here.

If we break 148 tonight/tomorrow... I'll have a hard time not holding most of this position to the upper 150s (the first red line on this weekly chart).
