Easy, bank some, let some run. I personally bank my weakest longs and let the strongest ones run. leaves more room for pullback and adding.

DislikedI hate seeing folks going through the growing pains of learning to trade. I know how much it can hurt. While I've never blown my account I've sure done some serious damage to it. The sad part is there's no reason for it. This business is unique from all other businesses out there in that you don't have to risk a dime to get good at it. Demo until you make profit consistently. PERIOD!I wish my construction business were so easy (cheap) to start before making a profit...LOL

DislikedThat's nothing. How painful will 50% be? 75% - 100%?? How painful was blowing your last account?? Get out now! I've blown 50% before but still had an account to trade with. Your choice but it's a no brainer to me.Ignored
DislikedThis is where we'll never see eye to eye. I don't believe demo trading is a good learning ground unless you're simply needing to learn the mechanics of trading (how to place orders, SL, etc.). When you have absolutely nothing at stake, you trade with a completely different mentality. Demo trading does not simulate the fear, greed, and other emotions that come into play when real money is on the line. I never demo traded a day in my life and I strongly believe it helped me learn at a faster rate.Ignored
DislikedAnd some folks have that mindset. I did demo trade but it was to learn for my very life as I went disabled and lost my construction business I started at age 16. Trust me when I say I beat the crap out of myself when I lost and jumped with joy when I won. I treated that demo as real as possible because learning to trade meant my families future. Now is live trading different? You BETCHA!! And I started my account with every dime I had left which was 2500 bucks. My monthly bills were 2800...LOL But at least I had a clue what to expect. Lasted a year...Ignored
DislikedIt sounds like your demo mentality is insanely rare... like almost doesn't exist. But hey, good for you that you were able to! I always tell people to even give it a hundred or two hundred bucks in there. It's not a ton of money and won't hurt you financially to lose it, but man it'll make those pips matter!Ignored
