I seriously can't take any position with this kind of PA, I either wait for a new daily high and re-test of it to take a short or do nothing. I have to sit tight, am bored to death...

??? what do you mean with a miss? . Was flat news, the revision upwards cancelled the undershoot on the current number... in an case, for what is worth my 2 cents NY open is set for the move ....

I hear ya brother Math.

My style is hyper scalping so I dont need big moves.

In out long and short with no SL in a pyramid formation for size.

Agreed...I sat on my hands all day until I couldn't take it any longer, so took that quick GU trade for around 12pips. Might be my only trade today from the looks of it. EU price charts look like a spastic drew them, I guess everyone's waiting for the BOJ statement and tomorrow's news.

15pip move for US news today is really abysmal...it's almost as if it's still Easter Monday.

Go do something else and check it every couple of hours. I've been catching up on sleep and haven't missed anything by doing so. I still do a couple of trades a day but it's all for 10-20 pips. Eur is such a tease now. Reminds me of Nov 2011 when the full scope of EZ crisis was realised. Deja-f@king-vu

Muted euro reaction to ADP

03/04/13 @ 12:25 GMT by Simon Smith, Chief Economist

A fairly feeble attempt to move higher on the back of the weaker than expected ADP numbers out of the US. On their measure, private payrolls increased 158k vs. an expected increase of 200k. EURUSD moved up around 15pips to above 1.2840 but the initial move was not sustained. The lack of reaction not that surprising for two reasons. Firstly, the ADP release has been weaker of late in proving a decent lead for the official BLS numbers (see today's Daily Brief). Secondly, the dollar is now becoming more used to weaker data, after a period of upward data surprises (vs. disappointment for eurozone data), so volatility on EURUSD is now lower than we'd become used to owing to the divergent trends in data 'surprises'.

U/J high was 93.68 and E/J 120.169. Say E/U overshoot to 1.2890, E/J and U/J are not going anywhere, looks like to stay under current highs either E/J or U/J has to give in to E/U. Doesn't look like anyone is going to make a move prior to BOJ.

I don't see this PA changing much now before the slew of news that starts tomorrow.

ISM later is about the only hope for a move

I think I will go out instead,

I should be safe without a knife or gun, my hands and feet are faster
