Trading is one of the few professions where you can be a net loser and still make a lot of money…thus, winning and losing percentages are almost totally irrelevant in the trading world.

It is a long term thought. Talking of investing for like 5 years. Dunno, I just want somehow to diversify my assets, which are right now mostly in CZK and I use broker+leverage to hedge. I dont want to keep em in bank, I dont want to buy gold or silver, I dont want real estate. If I didnt love my family, friends and Prague, I would have already moved to countryside and bought few pigs and sheep . Really, talking just about long term diversification of assets and I dont think gold or silver are such a good deal. Not in the 21st century, nono, I consider these kinda barbarian relics. But those Bitcoins seem tasty, if I knew it cant be abused.

Other than for fun I won't put serious money in virtual money. There're many tangible assets susch as properties or other form of assets to diversify.

As I have said, I cant buy real estate. Not in the world where financial sector still has balance sheet full of pre-2007 valued properties and is in the verge of collapse. Imo buying real estate is very bad idea. If just banks revalued their balance sheets to current market prices, it would be equal to massive short, lowering value 30% down (I am guessing here, as it cant be counted). Btw, I know it is common knowledge, but thats why FED buys 45Bn of MBS per month. Coz he is clearing those balance sheets, which are still toxic since 2007.

I might have looked at things differently and forex is not my main thing still have some other serious craps to run in real life

Well, for me, it is life. I only understand to public finances, international trade and monetary economics. And I hate banking sector and politics for its corruption, so I cant work there . I just want somehow to survive crash with as much money as possible. I ve been thinking of those Bitcoins lately, but it is just a thought, not a big deal. I think I will choose some small local Swiss bank to take care of my cash.

Tom you are young and a lot of oppurtunities ahead for you to grap. Make up your mind if you want to take career path or business owner. To make serious money the choice is the later. There must be something in your country that you can explore and creating jobs and that is serious money there.

There's nothing to worry for now. Any banks in the world will be very happy to have you as their client and you can buy as many residencies in the world as you want. Just show your account statement to the Embassies and they will call you "Sir" and more than happy to have you as resident

I would like this conversation to move on, so everybody doesnt read about my life. Afterall, it is trading thread and it doesnt belong here. Sooo, err, do you think that a) BOJ intervenes on Monday b) Japanese will cover their hedges against weakening Yen c) Exporters are going to sell USD in fear correction will move further.

But it can all happen in the same time. So, they cover hedges and get rid of their USD, sending USD/JPY down and while there, BOJ intervenes and buys heck load of USD.

Edit: Btw Ken, could you please stop quoting whole posts? It is not always necessarry.

Well, thats what I dont know. I dont know Japanese. The question is: Abenomics is producing weak Yen, but it cant be seen in CPI. Therefore, some companies might fear this wont work and dont hedge as much as they did before. So I think their net exposure will be lower (read, they hold less USD) slowing down weakening of Yen.

edit: slowing down, before BOJ intervenes again . Really, I dont know, thats why I ask.

I don't think BOJ will go aggresive in one shot knowing 2% IF can't be achieved by simply doing it without solving other issues
