I have my eye on R1 as well but for a potential short....

something to bear in mind, NY fix at 3pm and rumour is abound that there is EU demand into that fix, once that demand is satisfied it should allow things to settle back - IF that is factual

good info Max. I note also 58% of retail traders are position long 42% short as shown by Oanda's live book. I wonder if this increases the chance of a smackdown.

It is officially a pain in the ass day....

remember what we talked about, on daily and hourly outlook....

well look at he hourly chart and you can see why it is a pain in ass, overall we have a down trend but just today on the hourly we have had the rise, then the drop, then the rise again with the rises being against trend. If it was the other way around two drops one rise all would be great.

so now I am looking at the rise has taken us to 62% in an ABC and that level coincides with the lows from the consolidation zone a couple of days ago.

so for me it is short from this level R1ish (subject to getting a good entry) of leave it alone on EU I do not want to go against the strong overall trend.

Could be but the other way to look at it is, to maintain E/J below 120.90, U/J has to give for E/U to go higher.
