Here is another good use of the TDI cross and PA to draw a price channel
In this case is H4 channel.

Today and tomorrow, we need to see if PA will break out of this rising channel and continue downwards. It may re-test the lower channel later.
And if it does return back into the rising channel, let PA show if the uptrend resumes.

my estimate for weekly range is between 220 and 255 pips for this week.
so there is some room down.... down to Prev W Low.

manage for maximum run...

Good Trading.

you are what your pseudonym says "Winner..."

Thank you!! . It means so much to me.
I see that basic use of Horizontal Support/resistances are giving me "winners" and also keeping me out of Consolidation's
I get whisawed during the begginning of consolidation once but then from next time i wait for the BO
I waited for the Break & a valid close of 4HR cndle above resistance or below support in the first instance.
Similarly in the second trade i just took , i waited and wanted to go long if it closes bullish above resistance 1.5200 , instead it closed down . So, i shorted it.

Hi Frank,

I saw your Bolinger Band on your chart, so I thought you knew the terms 'balloon' and 'sausage' used by BB traders.

But I apply the same on the TDI Volatility Band VB.

Well.I have same things with different terms so.

Now you see how this unfolded the last few trading sessions...

it close below that huge D box and re-tested 1.0178 Prev W Fib127%.

Next destination 1.0150...but it is not going to so easy one way down...chopping up and down as usual. So placing your stops willbe a challenge.

Trade Well also include manage your exits well too.

Hello emmanuel7788.
Again thanks for all you input, helping us all.
I noticed on this chart of the UC H4,that you have an indicator made up of little circles over the InsideBars CS
It looks like a great visual aid in identifying the IB's.
May i kindly ask if you could direct us to a link so i can download the indicator.

kind regards,
Steve

I think this question requires another weekend exercise this weekend... LOL.

But for now, a quick answer is:

My approach to trading is PASR.
Your arrows are TDI crosses, right?
'PA is King' and PASR skills will be your filter and TDI is your confirmation.

Hi guys,

this is my first post on this forum. I have spent the last few days reading the forums and trying to have a real picture of Forex trading and removing all the non realistic posts. It seems like so many people are winners trading the Forex it reminds me a lot of poker. When i was playing everybody was so good until they show you their real ROI or you see their stats. To find the light in that forum is not easy.

After reading and viewing lots of videos from dcginc on protradenetwork.com, i really feel this is the way i want to trade and learn trading. I feel this website is really the best thing that can happen to a newbie, far from the commercial methods...

I felt really sad to read about the passing of Big E. His generosity and care for others definitely seems obvious when you read his posts.

I am eager to learn and i hope to be able to contribute to this thread and forum.

Burt

[font=Comic Sans MS][size=3][color=blue]I generally quit trading at 6am Pacific (9am est). Why? The market might cook some for the next hour or two but unless there is a hot news announcement during the day... the market pretty much peters out and ranges... I don't want to be trading in that junk. [u]Thats where dealers make most of your money is ranging markets and 5-15 min time frame trading...

I usually stop trading at 06:00 Pacific (09:00 EST).
Good afternoon ... I'm here with a question, asking if someone could please help, BIG-E stopped negotiating at 06:00 Pacific (09:00 ET), my time zone is GMT0 London, Lisbon,
The timezone of the BIG-E then is GMT +8 right? So what time it is here in Western Europe when it stops trading?
thank you in advance.

JVBS

+5p. shy of round number
+divergence!
+nice cross just below 68
-CT!

Took all profits 1:1 risk-reward.

Also taken AUD/JPY H4 at 10:00 GMT. That was also a great one, no screenshot though. Left one at work.

Geeez, the longer I apply this system, the better results I get.

Talk to you tommorow!

Hi JVBS

What you need is a good time converter which this links will give you http://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ use this to convert the times zones to yours. You have to be able to do these sort of things to really make it in Forex. Basic Stuff that is. All the best to you.

I've just reread the start of this thread and people keep mentioning this is "the 5 method of trading" from bigE.

Does anyone know what is "the 5 method" we are talking about? Does bigE have a thread somewhere else that also have other 4 methods of trading?
Or is it the 5th method somewhere from Dean Malone TDI rules? (I've attached the PDF from Dean Malone but there is no number indicating so I doubt this's the case.)

The most info I could find is one comment

We started with Craig Harris method of trading and it evolved to the 5 method of trading. The 5 method of trading in my opinion is much smoother and more profitable than Craig Harris method

So based on my understand, the evolution is like this:

Inserted Code
Dean Malone TDI Easy Method (attachment) > Craig Harris method (where?) > The 5 method of trading (i.e. TMS?) > X-man 1hr EU

is that correct?

What you are looking for might be here. It has been a while since I read the TMS thread but all of it evolved from here
