1000 pips is too much. does he think it will be repeat of may 2011. this is much worse than may. people losing 80% of their bank deposits is much worse

woops.. Had my short open since yesterday morning too, held it overnight and only closed it an hour ago before that aforementioned long. Oh well haha the occasional frustrations of a trading day!
Ill be looking for around 12796 now for a long. Although this will be against the overall trend still.
