good evening guys,

just placed a pending long @ 2847 , SL @ 2827 for the night hours.

I can hardly believe that another move down (especially a healthy one) is going to happen without some more retracement.
Normally I would at least expect 38.2 level, ie 2923. But until I´m back @ my PC in the morning, I will have TP set slightly below 23.6 ie 2890.

not a single down of >170 pips continued after not retracing to at least 38.2 within the ongoing downtrend:

yeah.. its a mess, although it was a mess at 1,37 .. I still can't belive it went there. I think it was one of those moves I didnt understood at all and still don't.. probably never will..

Well the problem I think with the euro has it becomes so short the cover is massive. I remember during the Greece thing last year it was record shorts that short covers with 150 pts. and more

Short cover is when short positions are closed out. The euro likes to accumulate massive short positions.

Looks like its tired of playing between the 1.2880 resistance and the 1.2840 support, looks like it wants to finally break the resistance and be done with it, maybe next stop into the 1.29xx zone perhaps.

Oh I was thinking he was talking about the 1,37 move.
I don't know what I would do now. I don't care about charts really.. :- p I like to draw regression lines though. becase its a line that is at the same distance of all points that it is feeded to her. Thats cool information to know how it will look like :- p

Bro, I think you can forget Greece Cyprus Ialy Spain etc etc, they are just pathetic ECB EEC dirty tactics, which euro has stunk of sinceits inception.

The EU rally from July 2012 was predominatly generated by BOJ Interventions, the rest is just stop go catalysts
Monthly EU Chart, cross reference with yen prs it is crystal clear, BOJ sidelines, euro takes a bashing, (also GBP)

Why is eu stuck here, couple reasons on chart others people have lots other reasons, 50 fib of present rally, breach of rising tl, mid ma,s 200 & 50, mid monthly levels, and just look to the left, some pretty strong historic supports, I will repeat, pa is at levels of 50/50, very good chance of bounce from here, but also very good chance of break down, monthly weekly daily 12hr is screaming be careful

People who are saying up and some saying down are both correct, but only one pa will respect, either way hold on your hat

I understand your reason to sell is perfectly legitimate one, technical on charts and indicators surely suggest down after the Mondays down move, along with Mondays fundamental of Cyprus second largest bank collapse, today has a lot of technical/fundamental drama too which wasn't very convincing to go long.

But who's going to move the market, not anyone's bearish comments on the forum topic or viewers thinking and placing retail trades on the sell side.

It's the price , the probability and the RR.

We very well know from last week, it did go to 1.30 and it's inclined to go to 1.30 and also the governments and the Angela merkel and the union want eurozone to go into the positive.

Having said that, traders still seem to respect that 1.2840 support and buying them, because the risk.. maybe 50 pip or less close to the round number of Stoploss placement before 1.2800, the reward .. all the way to 1.30 or in the 1.29xx zone, the probability = good.

Whearas, selling here for example say at 1.2880 .. the risk ? 1.30 or 1.3040-50 the weeks high? the reward and reason for reward = bad news or possible more bad news and negative sentiment. the probability = not that good considering the risk.

Just my view, why i have gone long on this at 1.2850 SL-1.2800 .. I see better reward at the cost of less risk and many people are getting in that for this prospect

I never said my comments on a thread would effect the trade. However, it is my responsibility in regards to my own trading to analyze, breakdown and interpret data, and I just happen to share my thoughts.

Just because I, or another, is long-term bear does not mean we don't see potential upside or vice versa. I do not plan to push the markets with my relatively small capital, but I do intend to aim for my best opportunities to make some money.
