Initially, the first trade on the Fed statement was to sell the dollar, which fell against both the euro and yen. Then, the dollar pared back most of its decline to sit about where it was just before the Fed statement. And then finally, the dollar has rallied against some majors. Is this because there is massive misunderstanding about Fed policy? No. It's because trading after any data point is dominated by computer models, often built to trade on momentum in the market, pushing up moves and down moves further than they should go. By now, these traders should be slowly losing control and the real reaction can take over.

Possible, I'd say that initial reaction was not about the statement as everybody expected nothing new and indeed nothing new has been said. I think it was a gun run on those who sold high of the day, real move will come with that shaky voice and Q&A
