independent from this problem, i would really like to know whether such a thing is possible or not. because if possible, this can happen with a decent broker too. I always thought that the market opens for all the pairs at the same time and a tick is generated at 00:00:00 based on the weekend market dynamics. here they claim that at 00:00:24, still they didn't have the first tick and they had to use the friday tick

The market never closes, your broker just opens and closes for the weekend. Also, ticks are price updates not seconds.

technically it is possible a tick only occurs if a trade is made in the market, the tick can be the same level as the previous tick...

it is fairly unlikely though that there was no tick after such a gap as some real trades would have triggered in the market the moment it re-opened

I follow FA but I trade/scalp with TA. Price broke below the 10M 5 SMA and the 5SMA is below the 15 SMA.

If the vote didnt pass that would be E negative I think.

I try not to think and trade what I see.

Well Ms Market is having a laugh at me now. Price reversed. Such is FX. Good thing I trade in a pyramid and focus on MM.

so if they want to put an order exactely at market opening, they use the price from the market and not from the last price which they had on friday close, right? where can i find this market price?

that is true for me but i need evidence. Apparantely they had a tick for JPYUSD but they said there was no tick for EURJPY. Is there anyway that i can extract the exact tick from the metatrader or any other source? then i can compare USDJPY and EURJPY and whether thay had any lag
