They still represent a minority of deposit holders I'm afraid...the problem is that ordinary people will get hit the hardest. Sure, some rich Russians will lose 10% of the millions they have their (and I won't cry about that), but some old couple with €200k in savings losing 10% is super harsh.

Also, it sets a dangerous precedent...because if they pull this off in Cyprus, do you really think they won't do it where you live should they run into trouble? Before you say "but we have deposit insurance"...well...that's what the Cypriots thought too

I have a serious question. Where can i find or how can i import my broker's historical tick chart of the monday opening?

On the monday opening, i had two oposite trades, one short EURJPY and one long USDJPY. In the market open, my broker closed both of them because of a fake margin call, because he considered friday close price for EURJPY but moday open for USDJPY. with monday price, my trades where safe since the loss of the USDJPY was compensated with the profit of EURJPY. BUT since they considered friday price EURJPY, my acount only got the negative from USDJPY. This gave me a great loss

Now they claim that on market open, there was no tick for EURJPY and they considered the last tick which was from friday close. But from the log, it is clear that the stop out call and the close order was placed at 00:00:24, so 24 seconds after market open. Is it possible that after market open there was a new tick for USDJPY but no new tick for EURJPY?

Now i want to find the tick chart and see this but don't know how.
