EU, GU and EG:

Interesting observations.....

GU started week a bit above RWL, dropped that bit to RWL and has already risen all the way to RWH.
EG started week a bit below RWH, rose that bit to RWH and has already fallen all the way to RWL.
EU started week about mid way between RWL and RWH and has staggard both ways but gone nowhere!

Interesting possibilities......

GU is bullish.
EG is bearish.
EU is drunk, or on drugs (or, its masters are seriously manipulating it!)

All is explained in the user notes in the compiles of the TAH indicators, via first link in first post. Follow all instructions in the releasing post to the letter because I usually do not answer any questions on this, as great pains have been taken to already document everything needed.

Hi Folks

In first post manual system talk about TF 5, 15 and 1H.
Simply question:
1st. Which TF use the system to EP to the market. TF5 or TF15???

2nd. The manual explain about the first charts of Sonic system, but don't explain anything about the interpretation of the new That charts, although gives great explanations about the new releases and indicators in the Users section on MT4 .

That the reason why many newbees are confused about the current charts and the instruction manual and all material in post #1

Thanks in advance for your valuable answers for these newer sonicers followers

Agreed. Been on the system for 2 weeks. Been a forex trader for 6 years. Still can't figure out some of the entries taken. Some are taken out of trading time range, some are using higher TF. The work overall is great, but a bit of an update is highly appreciated.

Bull Makes Money.. Bear Makes Money.. Pls think deep about these words.. That means "When Bulls are making $$, Bear Can't.. When Bears in in control, Bull lose money" .. Pls look at the trend.. and Listen what the chart tell you. Still trying to catch Top or Bottom??.. Being Egoist and Stubbornness do not have places in the trading business..

Hi SonickeRs
could you please comment on this entry:

1. Dragon Down
2. Wave (is it OK?)
3. After Lon open
4. SL above H
5. TP at previous consolidation, but above uptrend channel, RDL

I realize
- Uptrend bias
- Friday
so I'm careful (with lot size, monitoring trade...)

Thanks for comments.

For all new Sonicers, maybe my little words can help.

Enter trade only when dragon and EMA89 closer and will stay away
Find market trend from high TF, Enter trade from TF 15M (some time you can enter trade from TF 1M or TF 5M but too risky)

This is an example

The Sonic R. System Basics:

Sonicers,
Nothing has changed. The basics are what they always have been. Here is a rundown of them.

Wave - Price action must form a "wave". In time you will learn good from bad, but the essence of the wave is long= L-H-HL and moving to HH, and short= H-L-LH and moving to LL. Smooth PA waves tend to be better than ragged ones. Waves that have the first of the three legs of the wave crossing thru the Dragon tend to be better than those that don't.

Dragon - Two features of the Dragon are used, angle and borders. The greater the angle the better. Longs= angled up, and shorts= angled down. The border is used to help select the entry point (EP). Enter at least a few pips beyond the end of the candle that first comes out of the Dragon (border) on the third/final leg of the wave you are trading. Obviously, this means price must be above the Dragon for longs and below the Dragon for shorts, and you are giving PA some extra moving room before entering to help avoid "head fakes".

Trend - This line shows the local "trend" but can be used in a couple of ways. Look for when PA is also above the Trend for longs and below it for shorts. The Dragon crossing the Trend is significant, too, crossing up for longs and crossing down for shorts. The significance is not restricted to entries, but is an indication of strength of trend.

Some other items:
1. It is recommended to trade only during the London session, meaning don't pick an entry to a trade outside of the LS. You can close anytime.
2. Use historic S&R to find where to take profit (TPs). You can restrict to only such levels within the day range (ref: RDH, RDL) for quicker in/out and less exposure to market.
3. The M15 chart is the primary trading chart. Some will use the M5 on occassion, as in shortly after the London session opens, to get an earlier entry.
4. The H4/Daily charts are used to spot candle configurations that lend support for an M15 setup. Such candle configurations are pin bars, hammers, and engulfing. Read the Secret of Sonic R. pdf. for more information on this.

Attached Picture #1:
See the attached first picture showing an example of a decent wave with the first leg crossing the Dragon, the Dragon with angle, and a situation where the Dragon is above the Trend that also is angled up. Note that the example entry is during the London session, too.

Attached Picture #2:
See the attached second picture showing a much different wave. I include this to demonstrate the significance of S&R, and an initial break up and run that was a valid long setup off the half number area, but which did not show as a nice, perfect picture. This also shows a re-entry situation (read more comments about this on re-entry below). The intial break up and run did not reveal itself as a nice, perfect Sonic R. long setup. Note that there were multiple H/Ls, all rising, when the price initially broke up thru the Dragon and ran, but they were all very tight waves, and not spread out waves. Nevertheless, they were waves consisting of higher highs and higher lows, and once price action took the price above the Trend, a good entry could have been made with little risk. I mention the particulars of this initial break up and run because it was a valid Sonic R. System long setup! It just did not have that really nice, perfect picture involving a single spread out wave. You will have to learn the many forms a wave, or series of waves can take, and you will have to learn to make trader "judgement" calls involving them.

Some Words About Re-entries:
Re-entries are nothing more than trading a new wave formation after an intial setup has started to run. Typically this will involve price pulling back towards, to, or even thru the Dragon and then back in the direction of the trade. You pick entry anywhere you want to on the third leg of that new wave, from in/around the Dragon (early entry) to waiting for price to move beyond the previous H/L before the pull back started (conservative entry). If you look again at the second picture you can see this includes a re-entry situation. See how price came up thru the whole number (a natural S&R level, and always a significant S&R level). Then price pulled down and eventually bounced back up off this whole number area. When the next London session got underway, the MMs completed a move to below the Dragon and then started a new run that ended up going much higher. You can see the wave I drew. You can see I drew an EP that is definately not at least a few pips beyond the end of the first candle exiting the Dragon on the third/final leg of the wave. However, I did draw EP within the London session, and where price action rose above all recent previous highs. The EP could have been more aggressive, closer to the Dragon or even inside the Dragon. This is a trader "judgement" call, and you will have to learn to do things like this, to evaluate price action relative to S&R (bounce and rise off a whole number) and see when a re-entry setup has potential due to its relationship to S&R.

A Personal Observation:
We traders have an inclination to desire to make the "best possible" entries, meaning as close to lows as possible for long trades and as close to highs as possible for short trades. And often on this thread you will see posts of initiated trades where the EP does not seem to exactly follow the Sonic R. System basics, with the EP being too close to the Dragon, or even on the wrong side of the Dragon! That does not imply the basics have changed. It only means the trader succumbed to that inclination. If you exercise patience and wait for good waves and good Dragon angle to trade, you do not need to be "greedy" about your entries and you can avoid the inherent risk of being so. There will be plenty price movement to profit from, even with a conservative EP (you gave price additional moving room) and a conservative TP (you picked an S&R level for TP that is within the day range). You have RDH and RDL on your chart. You can see the indicated direction of the trade. You can discern the apportionment of the day range left for the trade. Look for setups lower in the day range for longs, and look for setups higher in the day range for shorts.

Hope This Helps,
-tah

Tah,

As usual this is an excellent piece of writing. I don't trad much because I have some time constraints but I am a avid reader of the thread and am trying to learn about the market for future.

When you have the time can you please have a go at writing up the variations of Volume that seems to play such an important role in your recent trades. I finished reading Master the Markets and it is indeed a good piece of work. However I think some of the stuff is outdated although the underlying principles still holds. I think your adaptation of the principles may be more relevant what we are seeing at the FX markets today.

Maybe Sonic would also like to write a bit about how to use and interpret volume analysis for starting and ending trades.

Once again, thank you very much for the wonderful work.

Best,
KashTrader
