Gatorinla I agree with you, at the moment we can still talk only about correct move in downtrend on eu. Will see how will the momentum evolve.

Some chart below. In some wider perspective, at the moment 3130 key level, if momentum comes ant bring it than it can goes even to 3300 area where is very strong supply zone, which you can see on my chart. At the moment all depends on the momentum, will it comes or not.

it doesn't.. it minimizes your loses though.. imagine going in high and holding it all the way to the lows and busting your account in the process.

I am treating 1.50 as the critical point, 1.51 as confirmation, 1.52 as "Why aren't you already long"
Even the worst trade can close with profit. Just give it time.

Yeah, I blew about 3 live accounts like that while I was learning. Still remember my first one. I managed to wipe out a months work in half hour. £5000 down the drain. Back then that was a lot of money to me. Nearly had a heart attack. Decided never to trade without a stop loss again.

It's not. But who's to say what is high and low. Easier to say after market reversed, then we have stop losses to protect equity from reducing even more than 0.5% or whatever SL set at.


PS: What can happen is 1% (1 in a 100 trades) of negative carried trades can take all the profit away,

one our hedging friend will learn the hard way

Good, you blew 3 live accounts to make you a real trader. I did twice and feel the same, and now, i don't want to blew it anymore since 2008 crisis
