DislikedI cannot see the point in even analysing it for the sakes of intraday or even medium-term trading. It's but a number!Ignored
DislikedAgreed...we do have quite a few long term traders in this thread though. Personally I don't pay all that much attention to fundamental news aside for my full time job. Charts are enough
Was just curious as it's conveniently positive while it really isn't if you bother to see through their bull****. The one figure I care about is the Baltic Dry Index...Ignored
DislikedOut of interest mate, what's your line of work? I must have missed it on earlier posts..
It all seems suspiciously convenient most of the time.. I do wonder if its the news following the technicals?? A bit like media and politics.. The BDI is a good direct show of trade and economic health.Ignored
DislikedI sell hotels for a living. As for the BDI, it's slightly skewed as there is more supply in transport ships compared to pre-crisis levels. A lot of ships started being built around the crisis hit, and quite a few of those have only come online last year. Still a good measure of overall economic health.Ignored
DislikedThe point is EURUSD is in a range market nearly 70-80% of the time...
Only 20% is trend trading, mostly AFTER THE NEWS...
So if you're targeting in 10-15pip profit it's ok.
If you however want targets 50+, 100+ you MUST NOT ignore fundamental facts.
I don't like fundamental analysis, but that's the way it works, and we cannot do anything about it.Ignored

You must be making some scene at coctail parties...Ignored
DislikedNot managing myself...I'm mostly selling hotels (or hotel portfolios) for owners, or advise various clients if they want to buy hotels (mostly PE groups). Been doing that for a bit over 3 years now. Before that I was doing hotel development feasibility studies in the Middle East, Africa, backwater Russia (bastards always sent me to the crappy places instead of St Petersburg) and the London luxury market towards the end.Ignored
Disliked15min chart here you notice PA finally broke the MA's which has not been done in hours so we are going up, the question is for how long, so check other TF's for suppportIgnored
DislikedWell i waited to post chart until PA broke the MA's and it looks like that may have been it before we go back down again? Very choppy right now!Ignored
