This would be correct, if we have a broadening bottom (which assumes definite end of the downtrend for now). If that's the case, we should see anything between 1,3260 - 1,3330 - 1,34 even.

But if this is a tube (expanding wedge, or whatever you wanna call it), it's a bearish pattern. Break of bottom would confirm further downside. 1,2880, even 1,2750.

EDIT:
- break of 1,3140 should confirm long;
- break of 1,2950 should confirm short;

Nice chart schickeria.what about if the 1.296 low from a ending diagonal triangle of a wave 5 into a 5 wave up then a 3.3.5 expanded flat with a continuation of 5 up which you have as a wave c.

That really leaves me at a loss now, because the drop shouldn't have retraced more than 75% of the rise.

There is a 1:1 equivalence between the waves of the latest zigzag (not labelled on my chart) from Fri till today. Also, it retraced 38.2% on the dot so I would expect a downmove and a break of the running triangle's lower TL at ~1.2940. Not sure where EU thinks she's going tho'

edit: break resistance now or continuation of the retracment via triangle to 50%...

For definite, i wouldn't label the start of the above move the same, there are two sets of abc's prior to Thursday's rise;

Again, slightly different, it would make my above chart A&B, with the rise Thursday/drop Friday being C&D, but again, it looks to me as if the rise was in 5w not 3w... it also screws up my 5th wave (of the 3rd)...

Yes I count a 5w rise too. The last chart would make sense in the context of a foreshortened ending diagonal for wave 5 - what else could that contracting structure be? a triangle? no - nothing in the preceding wave action warrants a triangle. I think your count is correct. The upward retracement is ongoing - let's give it time to reveal it's intention...

Notice, as per the news stories over the weekend, how EU correlates quite closely to the Dow. This is going to be interesting
