I am no longer anticipating price moving to 1.3200 area to make a higher right shoulder to this H&S formation. Instead, I am just anticipating a pullback to the down move today and then more downside and the breaking the neckline of this H&S formation. This is a very bearish looking chart, with price hovering above the neckline. Furthermore, price has broken a TL and backtested it. I don't see any bullishness here at all. It is just possible next week will be a gap down, and that would cement it.

On the other hand, maybe there will be a "Hurrah!" move up, if for no other reason than the MMs have it looking so bearish.

This is just an example, and a perfect illustration of market price manipulation. In just one minute, the MMs hiked the price over 60 pips, either to close their longs or to open new shorts, or most likely to do both. leaving the price back closer to where it was the minute before! This is like throwing dice, except when it comes the MMs turn they get to place the dice down with the faces up that they want.

UCad: Entered short. This is a Scout short trade based on the wacking the MMs gave the price today, and the fact that the MMs hiked the price right back up on reducing volume to S&R, to continue trading. No SL or TP is decided upon at this time. For now, the Trend remains angled down, with the Dragon having gone so-so flat, and the PA looking like what it does when bear MMs put on a "bullish looking" move.

Look at H4. When something drops like this, the MMs smell blood! And here they re-hiked the price fast to position it for more blood letting.

The proof is in the pudding. Here is the proof. Clearly, during the "off time" of the market and on Friday too boot, some MM simply ran the price up to take a short position. The associated volume bar looks small, but remember that forex volume is just a count of trades and does not reveal the actual size of trades!

Market Maker MMs can run the price up or down the cheque (or both ways) with the aid of "book entries" (essentially paper trades) to get it where they want it. They do have to take the other side of whatever pending real orders exist on the cheque when they do this, but it is a small matter for them or they wouldn't engage in this price manipulation to seek out liquidity available to get their orders for shorts filled. The liquidity comes from triggering into the market pending long orders and hitting pending stop orders on existing shorts.

Had I waited a bit longer, I could have secured another ten pips on my Scout short entry, but it is enough to see this confirmation of the trade direction. If the MM had been going long he would have run the price down, not up.

If the price is worked high again, if it is high enough (above the upper whole number) I might add to this short.

YEN Pairs Comment:

In these waning hours of Friday, all the YEN pairs are drifting upwards on low volume. This is a sure indication the MMs are seeking out whatever liquidity is available to add shorts. As they work the price higher, something that is easier to do in the "off hours" of the market, to any pending long orders, they trigger these long orders into the market and take the short side of them. If they come across pending stop loss orders on existing shorts of others, they trigger those also and the automatic "buying to close a position" creates liquidy for the MMs to go short, enabling their "selling to open a position".

Anyway, it speaks to the fact the "market" is bearish the YEN pairs, all of them! And the MMs are so bearish that they are taking these late Friday hours to engage in building their short positions. Normally, they'd be gone home for the weekend by now!

Take a look at the M1 chart! MMs love to build short above whole numbers, and the MMs drove the price up there and now are "making hay while the sun still shines!"

I already am short this pair and it does not sufficiently advantage me to add here, or I would be participating with the MMs.

It is a mental thing and it work for some people.

As with the YEN pairs, where late Friday the MMs were seeking shorts, they were actively seeking longs on GU. And very late in the day, too! It is a strong indication the MMs are anticipating upside for GU, and not just a little bit of upside either. These market makers make lots of money with their ability to manipulate prices during low activity times of the market, moving prices to build positions according to what they see on the cheque. This visibility gives them accurate "predictive power", and so they move price to build accordingly. And this is particularly telling, since it happened so late on a Friday, when most would already have gone home hours earlier.

See the long tails? Sonicers, that is the result of MMs building long positions.

BTW, look at the chart of EG that is also attached. See the upper wicks at the last of the day? Here too, the MMs were manipulating price up/down to build a short position. This is confirmation of what I just said about GU. It is obvious the MMs anticipate that the GBP will strengthen more than the euro, and that is why they are betting on EG shorts!

About Scout Trades:

A Scout is an inherently more risky entry than a classic Sonic R. entry, to be sure. And knowing the S&R levels that are most likely to come into play is a paramount skill with the Sonic R. System. That being said........

One can run into a conglomeration of S&R levels that are the centers of consolidation areas, and ranges within ranges where the tops and bottoms of each range also represent S&R areas. And when this happens, it all can add up to simply too many variables to mess with. And to single out the breaking of any one S&R area as meaningfull can be folly. This is why simply waiting for a valid Sonic R. System setup is so effective. Once there is a valid Sonic R. System breakout, you take it. If it does not go far and reverses, you simply get out and have the option to go the other way.

My Scout entry was based on acknowledging that somewhere in this mess of ranges/S&R areas (any one of which could become the "effective" one, based on whatever the MMs decide to do with price), that the late day MM manipulation of price upwards was a clear sign they were bearish. And I explained how all this works. I think that takes a lot of the risk out of such a Scout trade, but we will see what happens thru next week.

The important thing to remember about Scout trades is this. A Scout trade is based in part on volume, lots of it when price makes a high or a low at a significant S&R area. That is a signal that the MMs could be unloading their positions, and that the end of trade might be close at hand! It does not mean they are necessarily also reverse loading, or building right away for a reverse move to happen soon afterwards. Many times unfortunately, price will continue to make more highs, or lows, and also with notable high volumes. In other words, the first such event can turn out to be just one of a series of such events in a process whereby the MMs not only unload, but do start to reload in the opposite direction. After much pain, I come to realize this, that it is better to engage Scouts when price already shows some reversal indication and that engaging Scouts in the direction of the local trend might be sooner rewarding than sending out a Scout in an obvious counter-trend situation. You can see on the attached UCad H1 chart that the Scout entry was made with the Dragon already having made a "double top" and both the Dragon and Trend having shifted to a downwards slope. As I have been writing about recently, on H1 when the Dragon crosses down thru the Trend Line there is often a pullback upwards in price (not always at the exact same time, however). If you look closely at this H1 chart, you can see that it won't take much downside PA now for the Dragon to drop thru the Trend Line. So, there is also the high possibility that the hike back up in price on Friday will turn out to have become that pullback, once we get some future bearish PA. If so, it becomes a surety this is going much lower.

Well, time will tell.

Okey, so we can presume that Master Sonicdeejay made a Scout short entry as a result of seeing the whopping drive up with high volume. The spike at the top was an 80+ pips drive up in a single one minute TF, and you have to know that was pre-planned. And the reward for this counter-trend Scout trade was that the SL was hit before the MMs finally tumbled down the price. And tumble it down they did, over 200 pips! And all that after being set up for the BOJ release and pre-planned tumble by a pre-planned total pump of almost 250 pips (including that one minute finale to scrub the market clean)! That is over 350 pips profit in one day for those that had it all planned out. Gotta love the Market Manipulators!

Had it not been for too tight a SL, the Scout short trade would have been nicely profitable. However, it was a counter-trend Scout, which is more risky than a Scout with the trend. Perhaps next week, maybe within the first couple of days, the MMs will attempt another hike of some sort, lower than the high on Friday, but high enough and maybe with enough "tell tale" volume at the highs to warrant trying another Scout short on this pair.

It's hard to let it go when we are being blatantly being lied to. You say the indis are freely available yet you decline to post them here. The above is the latest PM I received from talaia, and my reply to it. I previously did not reply to his PMs regarding what I thought of "his work" other than to ask if he was commercializing it. I got the same nonsense repy that he also posted here on the thread, trying to justify that making money off this via "auctioning" was different than making money off of it by "selling". I had hoped he would understand my subsequent silence for what it was, disapproval of this flagrant breach of etiquette. That did not stop him, but I do hope that he can grow and see his trespass.

Obviously, he has amalgamized the extensive work of others, but If he posts it here as Sonic has, as I have, and as others have, free and with open code and for the purpose of helping others (which is the ethics of this thread, and thru which he himself has benefitted), then I would see this as confirmation he has come around to understand and have proper respect for the ethics involved. If not, I will see that as confirmation he cares not about other traders, nor about the fraudulent breach of ethics of using the work of others and attempting to make money off of it other than thru his own personal trading.

I do hope he makes the right decision. I have lived a long time and my observations are that God, with Divine Discipline in His own perfect timing, righteously deals with all those that trespass.

I was reading a few recent posts about the guy trying to commercialize it and honestly... it makes me respect Mr. Sonic even more. It takes someone with a good morals, ethic and compassion to openly share something that works. This extends to all trade system originators who freely post them for the world to see here on ff or somewhere else.

There is a guy who goes by "Craig" who openly/freely teaches everything he knows about swing trading stocks (google him if you want). He is a great person and all the trade system posters or thread helpers/contributors here on ff get the same respect and thanks.

So thanks all the trade system posters/contributers who take the time and effort to help someone they may never meet in person.
