unless +ve spills into further RISK ON.....
unless results already factored in (current rise in price )

it is much more about the delta of expectations versus actual versus factored in

Hey Max, is there any way to determine whether a number is already priced in? And in case the answer is yes, how does one go about finding something like that out? Thanks!

if you don't know what to do, wait for a 5m bar to close and then ease into the trend if you see one. Add at will.

tried that, didnt work, best advice is grab some pop corn and comfy seat and enjoy the comedy manipulation erectus maximus show a minimum of 50% of greenhorns will most likely wipe out their accounts and disappear, many more will go "WTF" and brokers will be rubbing their hands with glee, monthlyy jackpot:nerd:

1. Non-Farm Employment Change
2. Unemployment Rate

Which one do you think is more important and how markets are going to react on each?

You watch it for the first time.. Whole chart disappears because the market moves so much in a split second!
Even the worst trade can close with profit. Just give it time.

like a wise trader once told me on this thread "it is better to be outside a trade wishing you were in than to be inside a trade wishing you were out". my losing streak as a trader changed that day

the only way I know is to keep your eyes on the news reels in the days before looking for things like "Barclays say further surprise in NFP expected" (made that up) if they think that what would they and other institutions do about it? they would buy in surely then use the actual results to extend or exit their positions depending on the delta v THEIR expectation - just my take

but in reality that is a black art and most of us find out as the results come out and by the PA that follows it.
