I agree. For me, price action is all I need. I trade with candle charts (personal preference) and no indicators. I won't call the top or bottom but I do manage to catch a lot of the middle. Make sure you have your trading rules set and follow them, make it as mechanical as you can.

Just over on Yorkes mate.

Well, I still broke even last night, I had my stop loss to close for EUR/USD, otherwise would have grabbed more like 60 pips again last night. The aggressive approach is still kinda working. Just need to refine things into my own rules.

Good to see you and Brit both posting here, please keep preaching on the need to keep things simple. I am also running IBFX and noticed my Synergy APB candles are a little different from yours. Do you mind posting which one you use or where on the forum we can get it, just want to make sure I'm looking at the same charts as you. Thanks again for all you contribute, first time in a long time I'm confident of having an edge for the long term.

Does anybody have experience in using straight simple TMS trading day time frames?
Britpip7, I will enter a demo trade on your posted setup.
I will enter now which is early in the Ausr/Asian session.
How would you time your entries- candle wise and timewise?
Which sessions?

I have entered a demo long as per your daily chart setup, but with hindsight it looks a bit risky in that the daily and weekly trends are generally down and when there has been some buying the up move is pretty much limited to a couple of blue candles.
Anyway, I will watch it wth interest when London opens.

Hi andy,

Britpip7 is the man for D chart TMS trading.

I trade the D chart what is know as EOD (End Of Day) trading.
Look at EU today, yesterday closed strong bullish green candle and is a bullish engulfing candle pattern.
I will not simply chase the D candle and place a buy when market open this morning today open (Tokyo open).
I switch TF down to H4/H1 and wait for a retrace of at least 38% and 50% to make an entry.
My setup is the D chart. My timing chart for entry is H1 with H4 always in my view.
Intraday entries are usually good and I use that to build up more positions gradually with smaller initial risk.

Having said this, buy today is NFP and I will stand aside and watch. Next week will be a better time to start another new week and short-term swing swing.

Today is relax and waves watching.

Hi,
here is my worst trade for this week 10.
I was a Bear waited upstream but caught no salmons.
Technically on chart, TDI show 4-6 positions, Stoch crossed down but in hindsight, there was a Support, But hindsight is 20/20 vision.

It is NZDUSD and it went no where after 2 days.
Closed - 20pips, close shop for this week.
Will sit out NFP.

Edit: Next week I am still Bear and will wait again upstream for those tired salmons swimming upstream. Have a look at W.

yes, you are absolutely correct.
That's a Double Bar Low Higher Close (DBLHC) one of my favourites, and at 1.2970 historical support.
How can I missed that.

I know snarlyjack uses a different kind of stop because of his schedule and that works great for him. I was wondering if any of the other experienced TMS traders have suggestion for stop loss and TP. I know that Big E used the flattening of the TDI and hooking back as exit signals. I wondered if anyone had any other suggestions that were working well for them, especially in light of the fact we are using Heiken Ashi candles? Thanks for your time and efforts.

Was watching on this all day when was building up, and digging in James 16 thread findig finnaly meaning of DBLHC and other patterns names like DBHLC, BUOB and few other... slowly, very slowly I am uderstanding what you are talking about....

Hi,
What i see is that Eurusd formed a double bottom and Formed a Bullish engulfing bar yesterday.
So now if you see a Tdi cross to short E/U to target at 1.2972
Would you take it ??
In gbpusd i see divergence , does it mean that since its sitting on the support and bcoz of tdi divergence we should not short it ??

how will you decide to take a stand today?
the daily is bullish, the 4h is consolidation, you just look at the shape of the candle 4h that ends in 30 min or will you look to see if the 1h cross tdi?
