Someone is anxious to go long on GY pushing all other Y pairs up, and to prevent that lots of EUR/GBP must be traded down..

The Italian election is one factor. Some are also forgetting the new government in Cyprus which is about to seek a EU bailout.

The dynamics of EURUSD have changed this past week since these events came to the surface. The heights the Euro achieved 4 weeks ago are now nothing but a distant memory.

The pair would have to break the 1.3150 level to indicate a resumption of a medium to long term bull trend. Failing to do that, the pair could end up to the same levels in did in summer 2012 which was in the neighbourhood of 1.2100.

I think I did have 500 pip losses before and I survived with that kick-in-the-teeth feeling but without a margin call.
