Here's my AJ short trade. I could have done with waiting for the 15 min stoch to turn before taking the trade.

Hi guys. I watched this system, and i think it is a very great system.

About today on EU: Sell and s/l. Please tell me what i'm doing wrong
1. Sell - all rules. Stoch m5 below 80. M15 almost below. - s/l
2. Buy - stoch M15 in overbought (or we can ignore it when it's there?) - I didn' buy, but the price reached the level R2

Don't understand how I should to do in this situation.

P.S. Sorry for my english, i don't speak very well =)

Welcome to the thread Ksander.

You attempted to go short in a very strong uptrend. Also your 15 Min stoch was not pointing downwards.

The trend was up from Asia, M15 stoc was barely below 80, only 15 pips above the daily pivot and H1 stoc was strongly up, so all in all it looked more likely for a buy. Dont forget overbought just shows a strong trend it doesnt mean its going to come down any time soon.

trying a gbp/usd short, gbp is very weak nowdays. broker gap was filled, sideways action while other pairs had some strenght. stops already in 0

No I dont watch EU much anymore but I did get EJ at 12.15 gmt and took it out when it couldnt close above the top of the H1 channel.

It could be worth watching this pair again. I note the last few moves have been quite good. I did read a few days ago that the Chinese had gone back to investing in USD so I expect to see better moves in EU

it is a strong trend I can see now. But then I had to look on Stoch M15 only if it is obviously below 80?
You mean, if the distance to the nearest pivot less than 20 (or how?) pips - we are not entry?

In a strong trend you need to see another reason for it to go your way not just genesis changing colour. For instance if the M15 stoc was coming down strongly, maybe a pivot above the price or H1 at least printing a bearish candle. None of those happened so to be safe go on the side of the trend.

As far as the pivots go you will very often find price will bounce off those so even if there was a strong down signal there is not a lot of room in case it bounces.
