it does not work very well across pairs, if you want to do this for fx you need to do the following:

assess the strength of the main currencies ie: USD JPY EUR GBP etc. versus their peers then statistically measure the variations and work out the trigger points to initiate trades, you can then trade the relevant cross.

be warned the maths to do this properly is very complicated you cannot do it with indicators, also you need to decide which pairs will go into measuring the strength, say USD will you do EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD, AUDUSD etc. some are commodity currencies some are not, how will that effect the model?

you may see this referred to as correlation trading.

Even with correlation trading, there is always a "gap risk" - there should be otherwise how can the trader make money - that needs to be measured with some statistical tools.

I do trade correlations however not between pairs. EUR/USD vs S&P or DAX if the correlation level is significant say above 70% and r2 is within acceptible & manageable limits. I don't suggest an average trader to touch correlations tough, things may get pretty fishy if you don't exactly know what you are doing.

I seriously don't know/understand what you want from the guy Kiwi. He has not been dishonest at all and he did make the pips he said. You may hate him all you want but he is an amazing scalper -probably the best on the thread - and he does not mind sharing his experience/knowledge. You need to get a grip mate. That is all I am going to say and seriously I don't wish to cause an argument between you two. I do respect you as a trader and respect KB for his amazing thing that has been running perfectly for him.
