Looking for others to post their demo accounts for the purpose of trading discussions ect and to show off of course. Even if your not doing well now please post your trading profile if you have explorer set up.

My 1st goal is to have a 10% return. I have set no time limit on this.

My trading strategy is to be very patient for prime set ups and then go in very aggressively. This works pretty good for me but I did take a very big loss doing this as well.

Good question.... really just testing a new way of entering at higher tf s/r.. IF, I show a bit of discipline theres no reason why it shouldn't produce 10% a week...

That's a good idea to get an idea behind the trades.

Well after a stonking Asian session I managed to trade like a complete ass all day... still pulled it back with some scalps off the top of H4 on GJ

Shut shop for the week... figures look great (if you listen to all the bull banded around on trading forums or from the forex marketeers..) reality is they should be way way better..

Some traders seems to have an issue with the demo/live account thing... for me I actually trade with more discipline on my live account... If it is a problem for you though these guys have a clever solution...

Instead of books I am reading posts in week-end. You can say some posts are trash and doesn't worth, but some books are too


When I read this post:

It was a thunder at my head instantly!
Countless lessons are teaching don't take trade just with 1:3 minimum risk ( aka 100 pip SL, 300 pip TP or 10-30) and this is why need to be patient.
Idk how is your trades, but if I wait for almost perfect setup and if I am getting in aggressively, that is -10% or +30% for my account at least I can't imagine how to be aggressive with +10%, whatever.

Another, I think I read it in a book, or article: a forex trader made yearly +40% and went to somebody else for consulting. I remember the story for the super-uber low yearly return number in forex. The trader told: he waited several months for a setup, and when it was there, than he was stopped out. After that the price went in his predicted direction, but he was out already. This story can be very similar with automobile producers. One ( in England) makes all thinks by hand and targeting and selling a very few amount / year and the other one ( in Germany) selling for mass, so yearly a lot. If you miss 1 car selling at Wolkswagen isn't the same impact as missing a Bentley selling.

IMHO: if you wait a lot for the setup, and you miss, or will be stopped out, than that is a huge loss. Loss of the potentially earn money ( in lower timeframe).

crappy win rate today, around 40%, but good R/R... nice knowing you don't need to win them all... still got patience issues on the smaller tf's... more work needed on myself
