In both cases look at the total number which is combo of comercial and non comercial traders

I was always interested in the commercials.. I also think with all the talk of qe ending, the market is going to go into withdrawals as it's been on crack for several years now, and into the dollar.

They are usually early on positions, then non commercials catch up, then positions become more ballanced and there is increase in one direction, it takes time to master it and it has been my second cycle so far - if current drop is a game changer, but I think it is useful tool to limit risk even further.

This is what I think if it makes sense at all. The gain as seen in USD/JPY is not because YEN strengthen but because of USD gain. When USD gain reflects in EUR/USD bearish. I don't know when this bearish tone in E/U will last base on the assumption FED will tighten and rate hike. I just don't see how when employment rate is not improving.

USD bullish also shown on USD/CAD.

Yep, but the strength in the Y limited the movement. Dollar reaching highs of day. EURUSD 1.3166 broken more downside looks like (EDIT) if it closes below

I dont see any way they'll tighten. They cant- not because of the economy- there was no way all the QE was gonna improve anything anyway. All the printing is to enable the deficit- nobody else buys treasuries so the Fed must do it: 90% of all new issuance. As long as congress has a trillion dollar deficit the Fed will have to buy it, forever. It's that simple. Welcome to Zimbabwe.

Agreed but markets don't see it that way hence the down move boosted by FOMC minutes yesterday.
