EU: For sure, that was another Pump & Dump! What I find interesting is the question.....are the MMs pumping to short, or are these bastards choking on longs that they are still trying to get rid of?!

I ran into this loss. Even though I was stop out of this long, I am a bit confused on why it simply failed to materialize. To me it looks like a pretty decent sonic setup but I must have missed something to be this off. Its demo but its a loss regardless and I would like to learn from this. Could anyone help me out on this one. I actually print my "wrongs" out, note them and put them into my notebook so hopefully you understand that your thoughts/knowledge will not go to waste. I even have the Sonic rule book on my phone for periodic review, haha. Thank you.

I don't see a higher low in your little box there that would indicate a wave up. This chart is actually setting up, however, if it crosses back above the dragon. It has made a low, high, and then if it came back up, it would make a higher low followed by a cross of the dragon that must still be pointing up, which is the exact rules for entry.

I drew the wave for you, as I see it to help you understand why wave analysis is SO vital and for you to keep in your records. Others may have drawn it differently, but I can't really see anyone drawing it and getting different results from my analysis. It didn't make a higher high until after you entered, inside the box. At the point you took the picture, you should still be waiting to see if it finishes making a higher low and crosses back above the dragon. THEN the signal would have been confirmed and price was likely to continue up.

Unfortunately, this did not happen and price continued down to make a lower low. No valid entry was called and a lack of entry point should have saved everyone from entering the market wrong.

Also, I am pretty sure I said it yesterday but I'll say it agian: This is to be used DURING THE LONDON SESSION. Not the Asian session. During the Asian session, these setups are not very accurate and tend to go absolutely nowhere or even possibly turn around and reverse. So read that again. London Session only. Hope this helps.

GJ: Added trade #3 long, a Scout. About three hours until the high impact releases and to me it still appears MMs are manipulating the price to get longs. SL (not shown) remains mental. Added TP2, also tentative.

GJ thoughts but I do not have a position until after LO. TP would be open. This is a wild pair and with all the news coming out there will likely be movement in both directions.

EG Comment:

Being bullish GU and bearish EU, I took a look at EG. I don't normally trade this, but it could be at a changing point,....a big changing point. Monthly, H4 and M15 attached demonstrate. And two GBP high impact releases are in less than two hours. I would not be surprised to see a "Last Hurrah!" spike up on this today, especially if the releases are good for the GBP! And that might be the best time to start shorting.....

I have no idea about what will be released. What I see on the chart is that late yesterday when the US MMs had the market to themselves they concentrated on getting the price low. And so did the Asian session MMs today. And now so have the Frankfurt MMs. All have taken price below the whole number, which is where the MMs like to take it when building longs.

Now lets see what the London MMs do with the 1.5 hours remaining until the GBP high impact releases.....

GU Comment:

London MMs wasted no time. They drove price right back to the lows to start loading up on longs, ahead of the GBP high impact releases that are soon coming. And then later are two USD high impact releases. This could be a double impetus for a move higher. We'll see. If so, then not only will GU rise, but GJ will too and EG will fall.

Note that today the Asian session MMs drove the price above the whole number. And the Frankfurt MMs and the London MMs have kept it above the whole number, which is where the MMs want it when building short positions. Two USD high impact releases are coming later.

I entered short with a tight stop. I will either be right or get out fast. PA Wave below dragon and 89. TP are open at this time if the trade survives.

MMs would love it if traders got confused, what with all the ups and downs. They took it below half number yesterday and have kept it there. That is where they like it when building longs. Now, if some traders get confused with the up/down action, that is all the better for the MMs. If traders go short, well the MMs get to have more longs. If traders go long, well those become more pending long SLs to hit later maybe.

Speculative, yes. We just have to wait and see. Not much longer a wait, though.
