I just saw that there was a Good ZEW at 5:00 AM

Actually quite good. EUR/USD spiked up on the news and now I see it has headed down. Any thoughts on this from a Technical point of view ?

Hello all,
Who knows, maybe we will finally exit this 4-day sideways action (bear flag at low) today...

On the 4-hour chart, the Euro FX futures has resistance at 1.3380 area with a stop above 1.3405 and 1st target down at 1.3270s. If we reach the first short target the Euro has the potential to revisit 1.2900 imho.

It is not technically ready to head up to re-test the 1.35xx area until 1.3085 or 1.2985 areas are tested first. The long Euro position is a bit crowded so some relief is now due.

Hi guys...
Actually I am slightly BULLISH.
The only obsticles I am waiting to be broken are all on 4H chart, it's 50EMA and ascending resistance line.
If price goes down, however I would like to BUY more in supply/demand area (orange square on chart).
Anyway.... two boring days

Every timeframe shows something different so the price is squeezed now between few resistance lines on 1H and support lines on 4H.
It's all ready to break in couple of hours.

Entered a small short at 1.3391 based on the 55MA resistance on H4 and 200MA resistance on H1 in confluence with last Friday's high and 38.2% of the move down from Wednesday's high to Friday's Low. The price area also offers resistance in the form of today's DM5 Mid-Pivot (mid-point between R1 and R2) and This week's weekly pivot. Couldn't resist (pun intended) this one as it offers a great RR for a scalp back down to range low.

Looks like the 38 level is holding for now with divergence on the 15min but should it give she will want to test 88 for sure...a pull back to the 50 level before another push up could also be on the cards..TWT

Could I get some input about EUR/GBP?

Looks as though GBP/USD has broken a 4-Year Symmetrical Triangle to the downside so we should be seeing a down trend for the coming weeks / months. So with that in mind we now look at the EUR/GBP chart and notice that a weekly descending TL has been broken and confirmed. However, price is still testing an area of resistance for the past 4 weeks or so.

Once resistance is broken does anybody else see significant upside with EUR/GBP? This obviously goes hand in hand with the recent break of the 4-year symmetrical triangle with GBP/USD.

Thoughts?

on the 4year triangle in GBP/USD, its a big break, id expect a retest of the lower trend line to confirm the move before the fall carrys on...so i guess that would translate to eur/gbp failing at resistance for now...
