How come LC?. I put the upper limits around 1.3410. I know that anything can happen in this business though...

I feel a down day for the Euro on the cards. I have a different count to everyone else which makes us in a complex wave 2 right now...

Hi CG,

"complex" as in flat-zigzag-triangle or something else?

As I write there seems to be a downward breakout from the recent triangle and a general downmove in most instruments

Hi Venzen,

well, prob zigzag, but not entirely sure. Its quite vague hence i haven't been too forward with pushing my count, but i still think the 5w short ended on Thursday 14th before midday (GMT) @ approx 13,315 area

Ok, i think everyone is sensible enough here to recognise that charts are merely thoughts as how to decipher PA and thus can change quickly. Here is a couple of charts, firstly my (rather odd looking) Euro count. I am not keen on it, but the thought process is due to the abc retracing exactly 38.2% of the entire move This means its not likely a 4th as everyone else believes. The irregular wave 2 (of 5) saw 'b' reach 261.8% of wave 'a'...

Like i said, its not visually appealing, but i tend to think the market will do anything it can to trick you.
Add to this i think we have been playing a 'B' wave on the EurGbp and it might fit us being in 'C' already;

I will add that i'm finding it really difficult on both these pairs to get suitably positioned, the PA on smaller timescales simply isn't playing ball right now.

thanks seems markets are stalling and all over the place ,that count on eu 15min violated by that high candle to make it a wave 2 .my opinion is eu, au to move higher until usd strength kicks in.

Well, it could easily be an 'e' wave instead or 'c' of a second zigzag, but i will be honest.... i haven't any real faith in one particular count right now, so no trade for me (

Your charts are interesting. The Fib ratios are there but PA intention unclear as you say.

As for me I am retaining short positions with worst-case-scenario stops further north and not taking new positions until clearer PA manifests.

I guess I will feel more confident about potential direction if PA committed itself to a move away from the zone between the weekly pivot at ~1.3395 and weekly S1 at ~1.3313
