Took EJ sell when it powered through and closed below the daily pivot (I dont use HA candles) then took another sell when it retested underneath of the H1 trendline and carried on down. Target on both is the lower H1 trendline and 80% of ATR which is around 124.15. Locked in 50 on the first trade and 30 on the second though as not giving too much back if it doesnt reach it.

Yep....that's the way to do it.....when it's possible to take more positions in the smae run and really do some damage to the broker. It's not always possible to do, but it's really good when you can scale in 2, 3 or even 4 trades into a decent run. Well done

Not in the zone like some of you tonight!!! Well done! Got my 30 pips from USDJPY -- with a little more thought I should have stuck to euro as all the news was bad and as they digested it so down it went. However, learning learning learning - great to see that scaling in thingy and will be practising that one.

Good going though Marty. I had a crap day yesterday.....that's the way it goes sometimes. I missed some opportunities earlier on today, but that's in the past, can't undo it, no point in thinking about it, just look ahead for the next trade

Great trading! My congratulations to you!!!
When do you usually move your SL at BE? I'am asking because your second trade had a pullback - I didn't take it anyway, but even If I did, I would have been stopped at BE (I move SL at BE after 15-20 pips or so). Just interesting..

It really depends on how price is moving at the time and what Im looking at. In this case it was moving really well downwards, it had retested the underside of the H1 trendline and I was pretty sure it was going to continue down. I waited till the M5 had broken the Weekly pivot at 124.99 then moved to breakeven.

Other times if price is not moving very well I will move to breakeven at 10 or 11 pips it really does depend on the circumstances at the time.

I figured out. That's just how I was thinking. And in that situation WP coincided with RN - double reason to expect a little pullback. Nice decision!
