Went through 1h Senkou Span B, I took it out near the Daily Tenkan Sen......84 pips

So did you take this trade because the signals on the higher TF to sell had been invalidated? And then there was a bullish set up on the H1?

The trend on the Daily seemed to be petering out, Weekly not looking too great either so it seemed that there would have to be a good upmove & some consolidation before Daily could go downwards again or it could even turn out to be be a reversal.

But of course, these are just theories, we all have'em but we always have to think about what if we are wrong........when I took the trade, break was about ~30 pips down & 1h SS-B ~50 pips up with Daily TS ~100 pips up, & higher timeframes being positioned as they were, it made for a good high-probability trade.
The upmove could continue in the days to come & "may" even lead to a reversal but I when I saw price struggling at Daily TS & got out.

There were some nice shorting opportunities in JPY pairs, which were quite predictable, but the upmove on GBPJPY earlier put me off, so decided to play safe......

Was able to get into GBPCHF, it's gone well, it has hit the Daily TS now so end "could" be near but let's see how long I can stay in it.....

As I'd said about shorting opportunities in JPY pairs......about 150 pips so far

r41225, I see you have no Chikou Span on your charts. Do you not find it useful? Also were you using confirmation on higher TF for these trades? Great work, congrats.

No, I personally have never found CS to be very useful, in fact, I find it to be obstructive so I just erase it; but you know somebody else might find it very useful & they could be making tons of profits so we all have to discover our own ways about how we use these things in order to achieve optimum results for ourselves.

Yes, I do consider higher TFs too.

To me CS has its use, but like you say you need to develope your own strategy

Pairs at decisive levels so played cautiously.......67 pips on EURJPY & 52 on CADJPY

As I've said before, these are decisive levels, bears are trying to fight back into it, we just had a big down-move last week, can't just trade like a smooth trending market right now.........consider the loss cost of doing business or avoid turbulent markets completely or be ready to take profits quickly.....I took practically the same trade on EURJPY but I took profits & ran......

Just taking profits wherever I can.....72 pips on EURJPY, 65 on Crude
