Normal market cycle. Check your charts historically and you will find a substantial retracement happens about this time every day. The market starts to move an hour or so before the London open then tends to retrace about two hours later...we humans are animals of habit.

The learning never stops, I'd got a bit too confident recently. Draghi's ambiguity and the recent mouthing off over FX rates have messed up the last few days, need to learn the lessons and keep on learning. The main lesson I still haven't fully learned is staying out when you don't feel comfortable with market conditions, got to keep working at the discipline
Sadly mine is lacking sometimes.

exactly if i found Holy Grail i will open account @ all brokers on planet earth and deposit $100 each and play few mini lot per broker (i need golden duck remain live ).
10% a day can turn $100 into 100k in less than 4 month, gambling can trun 100k into $100 in few hours
i played fulltilt too and often some players do really well, not because they are good players, but because they are crap players, throws the good players off, that is why many of the same faces are at the finals table year after year, flukes come and go,
trading is the same, win win win many times, low leverage big stops then i or 2 bigger leverage trades same wide stops and smash all your profits from all the winning trades gone in a blink "but" dumb ass humans that we are, we still feel winners cause we won heaps of little trade,
I think anyone trading real money will understand, demo ers well they just keep making millions of pips never losing and are gazzilionaires

Dicipline is key
Winning trades - Nearly all were entered for legit reasons not just trying my luck
Losing trades - Nearly all were entered trying my luck (or revenge trading), not for legit reasons
Create a set of rules & try to stick to them, also trade management is a massive thing. I've lost too much profit by not keeping S/L's tight or by opening extra positions.
I also put too much pressure on myself sometimes, I'm keen to make this my full time job at some point but need to take my time and not force it.
