DX found resistance here. It broke the trendline too.

Trendlines are just made to be broken and I don't trust them... (you may argue they have to be broken on a closing basis or 2%-3% of price, ect. ect.....) That's just my viewpoint. Unfortunately I cannot make money with trendlines.Of course if you can make more with trendlines, more power to you... and I am happy for you.

I would like to see price moving below 80.17 which would suggest to me that a retest of the 79.80 level of support would be very probable, pushing the Euro higher.

What do you think? I had some good comments on the blog on the Dollar.

Could that last candle be a bullish engulfing in the 30m? What do we need to confirm it?

Yea.

Thats pretty much what i think too. Daily closing price levels for index are not close to each other below 80 so drop will be fast and likewise euro upthrust as well.

But it likely will happen when there is most of the volume from exchanges and clearers, that is, cross-over with London and US.

I would say 79.88 for index.

evidently the 126.34 didn't hold. but the rest still intact. there may be more to get higher but i will be looking to short after ej 127.3x and eu 3501.... maybe the norm at 35823 or even higher.. the 4h candle closes in 22m.. so the eu has that long for me to trust it in a close. or make a fresh 1h close below 3427.7 either above 3487.3. if i am looking to short i will close my longs.. ej 127.3 ... eu 350x+ ish

Don't be a fan of bullish engulfing candle at the top of a move + ATR reached + lower high and lower close if you look at the previous green candle.
