Thats what I did when trying to upload the pix. that window never showed up. Sorry i sounded like a newbie but sometimes you get the best explanations that way, especially needed if youre getting rusty in my case. So im not entirely inexperienced. Been in and out of forex for a while now but im still on pg 45 on this thread. Can you help me on how to use the ATR in this system I saw a brief reference & link to it.

i dont mind admitting i am a newbie,
i too have suffered some pretty big losses over the past day or so, yet last few weeks have been doing really well,
where would the best place be to look for news and the effects ? i see there seems to be news of some sort or other all day long...
is it just the high impact ones that need to be avoided ?? like the ones on here under news marked red ???

ps - leaving it alone today, was a few £££££ up on a trade this morning which turned and bit me in the Ar@e.....

I would like to know if there is a summry for this strategy.. I find it too hard to read over 1000 pages.

I read the first few pages, and I would like to know if anything was added to the strategy since then.

Highly appreciate your comments Emmanuel and yours too Nellycopter. Needed to confirm I was using the indicator in relatively unfavourable conditions and that that was mostly the reason why it was being tough. For the benefit of those who dont already know this also helps in filtering bad trades : "When checking out the TDI for a possible trade: Think of a wall clock here and it's arms... you want to see the green line for a long trade at the 12-2 angle for best results and a short trade at a 4-6 angle... This is basic 4x stuff... Don't try to read things into the TDI just so you can get into a trade... If the green line looks like it's at a 2-4 angle... it's weak. Pass on it."

Keep it simple, 12-2 o,clock.......

Only up to pg. 11 of this thread but I like it , here is my first trade on a 4hr time frame , when I dropped down to 60 mins I got a bit concerned with the amount of bull candles and sideways movement , any thoughts and comments welcome thanks

Ideally I think you'd like to see better momo, but the trade should've worked out for you. I didn't take it, I took the USD/JPY long and shorted GBP/USD.

After your entry, market went into consolidation probably due to the EU summit. Now on H4 a double inside bar show up and it will impending breakout. Price waadriven down last week, and stopped near RN 1.3350 with 1.3360 being a histrocial S&R.
Question is which direction will be the breakout?

The yellow line on your chart is Moving Average:

You must read all of Big E post to learn this simple system and how he trade.
