I have a real personal complex with gambling.I have gambled in sports for 5yrs and lost thousands.I firmly believe gambling mode does not work in trading.
I will simply state why.In gambling event is predetermined 50% roughly win /lose and one already knows exactly how much is wagered or risked and once that is done its over.
In trading one has the option to cut the losses early or extend the winnings.If proper edge is found even greater probability in trader side.
I respectfully disagree with gambling equating to...
gambling has no place in tradingTrue gamblers do not gamble, it is a paradox, 50 / 50 is gambling 51 / 49 is not,
True gambler will always determine risk / reward first, first
The paradox is the term gambler or gambling as gator explained, and the reality or simple definition, "a gambler will risk on a coin toss, a true gambler would not
For me success in trading, is determining who really is the enemy, fuken brokers are the biggest enemy, but we have to use them, another paradox, bulls and bears are not the enemies to each other, they are what moves the market, without them there is no market, banks, politicians, etc are also the enemy, but again they move the market
anyway getting too philisopical, but most battles are won by the side that truly "knows & understands the "other" side
This site is funded and run by fuken brokers, what really pisses me of is traders that come here and consistantly show how easy it is to gain pips, stuff all losses, etc etc. Been here a long time and seen many come and most disappear with all their "winning"
This is subliminal broker promotion and sucks, out right broker promoting also sucks
