Looks like AUDUSD will stay below 1.03 until Chinese data is released.

Im expecting 1.015,1.019,1.02 before reversal

We're going totally off course here. I do think the fib sequence may have some reason for it's presence in nature - efficiency or what not. I just don't believe it has much (if anything) to do with trading.

'It is the minimum requirement for, and therefore the most efficient method of, achieving both fluctuation and progress in linear movement. One wave does not allow fluctuation. See this is where I fail to make a connection with this fibonnaci and trading thing. What the hell does a leaf's structure have to do with millions of humans participating in a market??? Maybe if all the humans were on the same page and trying to obtain the same objective it would form something symmetrical as a fibonacci sequence. But most everyone is "moving" in different directions. Corporations have exposure to hedge. Central Banks are trying to accomplish something else. Day traders have their own set of goals. What does any of it have to do with a leaf in a garden???!!!!

Okay that's fine and all. I won't disagree with any of the 5-3 is most efficient stuff. Mainly cause I'm not an engineer. But let me ask you this then... how do you differentiate between 5-3 and 5.35-3.53?

Or how about 5.3535-3.5353?

It goes on and on. So how do you know which wave you are on? Where does it end? Where does the next one start? And back to which wave is now starting? The more I think about it, the more I believe that EWP is just a humans way of trying to make sense of something too great to put in order for the human mind.

Both plants and traders have hormones. Both try to do things as efficient as possible. However, the fib sequence can be seen as things trying to get as far away from each other as possible. Even water droplets dropping one at a time into a dish will move as far away from each other in sequence.

IMO, GP tried to use an analogy to describe a natural order.

In the meantime, the chaos in the market would end up in a form of the human herd mentality expressed in waves, which was the cornerstone of EWP that R.N. Elliot discovered long time ago. The EWP and Fibonacci are two facets of the same natural phenomena.

So many waves and waves after more waves. How does one interpret? We've been range trading for a long long time building up more and more energy for a move that very well could be a massive one.

We've been stuck in a large trading range set for us back in 07/2011 - 10/2011. I count 14 waves since then (high) and now we're on wave 15 down. I bet there's a million differing interpretations of EWP on this but in a non trending market the waves are meaningless in my opinion. I think wave counts are more relevant in a trending market. We may very well be just in the beginning stages of a trending market as the current wave down could be wave one of a major five wave bear market.


Now will somebody interpret all those waves I see on the weekly chart, please ?
