You should check the minimum lot size requirement of your broker. Besides it's always a good idea to check the "experts" tab for possible errors.
But in this particular case you're just lucky. So far the ea has launched 3 baskets and all of them were losers. So no money so far here.

I am very new to the trading experience and am open to any help, suggestions and tips.
For now I am more focused on the PA more than anything but I find your approach very interesting and it seems that the results are pushing a lot of experienced traders to this thread.

I have had the EA setup Live on a Demo acct with Alpari. It's been running for 2 days now with no trades. I was just wondering if this is a normal occurence and is it looking for the 'stars to allign' before making a trade or is it just my setup that's holding it back from performing at it's best?

As instructed I am using the default setting of the EA on H1 with an M5 Trigger and H1 H4 for direction.
I have attached a snapshot of the platform. if anyone has a moment to have a look at it and let me know of what I should expect I would be very Thankfull.

Next Version probably this weekend, I am checking for bugs at this time.

The way this version will work is that it will have a built in MM.
The EA will only open the trades and the MM will take over from there.

When restarted it will also take over open trades and MM it if there is one.

It will be similar to MPTM, here is a screen shot with just the Pips TP and Pips SL active, you will still be able to move these lines like before with the mouse.

Here is a screen shot of testing, I entered a Long Manual Trade with the Hot Key and the MM took it over. I moved the TP and SL in tight with the mouse to see if they are going to work OK.

I also shut down the platform and restarted it and the MM took it over again.

Check your tabs for errors and also make sure you have your MT4 paltform set up to do live Trading and DLL imports.

When I try open the Basket manually it comes up with '0 Trades Opened.'
and the EA is dimmed out under the EAs drop down...

OK I have removed and attached all the charts, templates, scripts and Indys at least 5 times. I've checked all my EA and DLL options over and over again.
Every time I want to add a script manually to the chart (Core5 Sell/Buy) it always comes up with 'Opened 0 Trades'.

I see there were a few script variances and I have tried them all with Default Settings and also with Modified Magic numbers.

In the pic attached if you look at the Journal Section you will see the error messages popping up every time.

can someone please sway me in the right direction...I'm sure it's something Stupidly Simple that I am not aware of...

Check your log file and see if it shows anything, they should be under your MT4 folder under experts/logs

Also will your account accept .01 lot size?

Should look something like this in the log file:

im getting the same errors in my logs but i think ive figuered it out...or you have. i dont think im allowed to put an order in for under 0.1. ill look into it further. thanks for the help

Ranging market, maybe on lower time frame you can get some pips.
I'm happy to follow thist topic from the beginning. Looks promising.

Btw, just entered long. If you wondering I'm not using TDI for entering any trades. Just testing some ideas of my own.

Help Page #11 - Updates in Version 4 -

Here are a heads up to the changes that will be in version 4.
Version 4 will be posted this weekend after close.
Once a trade is open the MM will take over along with the original settings to close a trade.

1) Added a spread filter you can set so if the total spread is too high the trade will not be taken. This is also shown in the information window and a warning will also appear at the top of the information window when this value is reached.
2) Added a mm group to the EA, below are the choices, you should already know how to use these.
3) The Trailing Stop Loss has been removed.
4) The TP and SL lines will still be drawn on the chart and will still be movable with the mouse.
5) When any of the MM settings are selected, they will display in the information panel, when not selected they will not appear.
6) There is also a maximum drawdown in pips now displayed in the information window.

This indicator was thoroughly tested over the time in different systems and combinations with other indis. And proved a complete failure. So nobody is actually using it now. I tried to use it several years ago with the same logic but trading single pairs. It was a complete disaster. So now I thought that probably trading it as a basket will make it more stable but it looks like the same old story. And market conditions have nothing to do with it because other systems are bringing money right now. It's just something in the nature of this indi. But it does look beautiful, nobody can deny this.

Maybe you can enlighten us all so we don't waste are time going down a dead end road and then we all can make some pips, I will even code the EA for free for everyone.

I went back and changed the post to version 4 so no one thinks they missed anything, there is no version 5 yet, sorry about that, we may all be going down a dead end road anyway from what I am hearing, so there may never be a version 5, just another dead forum.

Could make it for different or more pairs if someone can show me with real stats that it would be better, I am always looking for ways to improve it without adding any more indicators other than the HAS.

I will leave version 3 as is, as maybe some want it without the MM, that is the only difference other than the spread filter.

The chart will still be based on the original 5 pairs and that is what the EA is looking at, so hard to tell what the outcome would be without a test to see what would happen if you close one trade.

how does your test goes on?
As I posted the h1_m5_h4 produced 4 S/L how are the other settings workin out?

I changed now to h1_m5 and goin for 100 pips, S/L200, no trailing.... lets see
