Looks like we're slightly below the middle of today's range...no clue if it'll bounce downwards or break through. Either way, volume's gone now I think, so time to head out to the pub

Will need price above 1.3550 before I'm thinking about going long again...

PS: Please Italy, do NOT elect Berlusconi...fool me once...fool me twice...fool me three times...fine...but FOUR TIMES??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? That man is already freaking out stock investors, just look at the Italian stock market.

I quite agree, Math. I had to go out for 2 hours on other business this morning but clearly didn't miss anything. I shall put my feet up shortly and look forward to a bit more movement in the PA tomorrow.

I don't think that M.Hollande's remarks did us any favours; however, Angela Merkel's response seems to have negated that. Maybe that's why the PA is so flat today? Hopefully, tomorrow will see more action. Speak tomorrow.

It appears as if you are playing with fire. Why not secure your profit, then risking it? Everyone is looking up, but if you think eur/usd will go to 1.37 from these levels. I think you should re-evaluate your system. Look at the way eur/usd and eur/jpy has traded at these levels. It has hit a dead wall. The movement upwards reveals it.

Last post today.

The big hedger is still around. Likes near hourly closes and was a bit surprise to see wants to close buy position for last hour.
Probably just playing own range because market has been pretty well cleared from intraday orders between 00/45.

So, good to understand whats happening, there is no guessing when one sucker moves market.
They think they are smarter than I am.

I'm backing the bears here. A strong indication of a trend is looking at the movement on the 1m chart. If you look at the attempts up and down. Take a look at the reversals. Notice how long it takes either pair to lose the points it previously gained. Its clear to see now that the original attempt downwards, was the real move. The reversal up was nothing more then an attempt to keep us off balance. It is clear to see that many of the posters here are swingers. Yet, why not secure the profit, when the market is in a range as it is now. Going into today eur/usd had above a 50 point range between pivots. That is about our daily range today. The moves down have been very swift, as the long position has taken very long to develop.

As you can see on my chart the 120ma still hasn't been broken. There looks to be plenty of momentum pushing down but 120 needs to break to see a new low. That is a critical level right now

but looks like your black indicator (whatever it is) has just pass through mid line which tells me that it's just a matter of time for the price to break 120.
Whatever is happening right now has happened before and will happen again.
