Feedback:

If you have opened basket and then reopen/restart the MT4, the EA won't be able to manage the opened basket anymore, there is no any calculations and information for the opened basket except in the terminal window.

Thats the reason I think it shud have a comment or magic number based system where in even if it restarts it can keep track of orders

I thought it would continue to monitor all, since the magic number and comment are the same, but didn't.

Seller9, this was my frist trade with the EA with m5 reverse trigger. It did good, but even after "MM" closed the entries with trailing pips the EA refuses to b "happy" (start).
Can you hit Ctrl + 4 to show me the alert window, I need to know what closed the trade, the EA or you? Then I can check the code and see why it didn't restart.
Same here, when restarting the ea has lost the trade.
Sorry can't show you the alert, I shut down the ea, no info available at the restart.

The Basket EA didnt close them, Multipurpose trade manager EA did.

OK, the EA only restarts on trades it closes, also if you do a manual close with Ctrl + 3 you also need to restart it with Ctrl + 9.

In the next version I could add code so it will look for open trades and if it sees none restart by itself, but for now it will not.

May I ask which MM EA you are using?

In a future version I was thinking of adding MM, but I wanted to see how the rest works first.

I was thinking more along the lines of something like MPBM as mentioned in the previous post, does this do enough for everyone and has anybody used it for a basket?

Steve's has a lot of bells, maybe more than we need and some traders who have tried it have trouble getting it set up with all the different settings, where as MPBM has fewer settings and easier to get going with and I believe some on the Basket thread are using it.

What does everyone think?

Agreed MPBM is better for baskets. MAX spread filter is a good idea.

basically we should have 2 versions , one trading the 1 h on 2 15 2 15 and the second a kind of scalp trade on the 15 m . (5/21 ema cross in line with AO should trigger it ) HAS can be 2 5 2 5

Try using the latest version on post 162 where a bug was corrected.

Currently I am on my third trade with the EA OOB. First two trades closed for small losses when SL triggered. Current trade is running also at a loss in a very choppy market. So far the EA appears to be doing exactly what it is supposed to.
Ea closed the trade( a los) but did not enter on the next color change,

I use setting with only color change.
