Diamond invalidated and the road is clear for my short. 75 pips floating. TP for the time being: 1,5770.

A diamond is a formation made from to triangles. A broadening one on the left and a regular one to the right.

Any picture can be understood and described million ways. Not every diamond looks the same.
What I am saying is that it does not really matter what it is until you can trade it profitable.
That's why I am not saying it's a diamond, but it's something interesting for sure that deserves my attention.

I'd appreciate some help on the topic of triangles / diamonds, if somebody would care to oblige please.

I'm aware that a diamond is comprised of "two triangles merged together" so I suppose the question should be what constitutes a valid triangle? Should the tl touches alternate from one side to the other cleanly? Or is it valid when you have consecutive touches on one side, prior to a touch on the opposing side of the triangle?

Is Kende's eurjpy diamond valid? If not, why not?

Looking to learn.

It was not a diamond, but it was tradeable.
It had a broadening left and a narrowing right side, with a nice break at the end.
